I have used Bio One twice in the past few years for hoarding situations at rentals I own. Both times they left cat/dog *** The first time, it was just a couple pieces, and one piece was hidden in an oven bottom drawer, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and hired them again.
This time, I paid Bio One $300 to clean the bathroom and stove, and to sweep and disinfect the basement floor. My handyman said the owner, Kellen, did not clean the toilet right, and that he had to go buy bleach after Kellen cleaned it. The house did not pass Neighborhood Code inspection, in part because of all the dog *** still on the basement floor that somehow Kellen missed. When I texted him about it, he asked me where the *** was, claiming he had swept everywhere.
I told him it was everywhere, and some of it was even moldy, which means it had been sitting there awhile. Zach, the Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code inspector, can confirm all this. Kellen made no attempts to resolve the situation. We swept up the dog *** and threw down a mixture of Dawn, vinegar, and baking soda to get rid of the smell.
The inspector did eventually give the house a pass, no thanks to Bio One. Krista Gregg, a rep from Bio One (not the local branch for some reason), reached out to me after reading a one star review I had written.
I explained the situation and asked her for her help in getting me a refund. At first she pretended to care, but after awhile it became clear that neither she nor anyone at the local branch had any intention of making this right.
