Can’t get a quote

I had some shingles rip off during the last snow storm. Requested an estimate.

The estimator tried to talk me out of using them by ridiculously high prices. Then he said he’d be there the next business day.

That was three weeks ago. Still waiting.

If you want it done right, don't call BSR

Had leak in garage roof, was advised by BSR to do tear off. Agreed.

Within eleven months, roof started leaking again, much worse than before. They came out once in December and again in January but roof kept leaking! Contacted Office of Attotnet General, Consumer Frauds and Protection wanting to know if I could file claim against BSR without further communication with them. They informed me that they (BSR) were aware of leaking roof as I had previous called them in December and January.

After several letters back and forth was informed that BSR would not take responsibility and refund the $2200 I paid them for doing the most horrific roofing job ever!

I had the roof redone and have no leaks whatsoever. I guess they really are BSR -- Bull *** Roofing.

Leaking roof after 1 year

Updated by user May 20, 2013

This issue has been satisfactorily resolved. It was more of a communication issue than any problem with workmanship and we are grateful to the company owner who took a personal interest in working out the issue with us. The complaint should be withdrawn.

New roof was installed January 2012 and is already leaking in garage. Binghamton Slag Roofing representatives have come 3 times and given us 4 different stories for why the leak, none of which make sense.

Instead of repairing the roof they want us to pay $600 to have them uninstall a vent on the house, claiming the vent (which has been there 20 years and never leaked) is causing the leaking. The leak is because the garage roof was installed improperly without it being sealed in the seams between the roof and the siding but they do not wish to correct the issue.
