Everything is setup to lead you into their price trap.
First the fake coupons they advertise, fake because they will quote what they want to charge anyway and just say that's the "after coupon" price.
then the call will the secretary, she will give you no information and say the tech has to get there and that will be $60 dollars just to give you a quote.
Then the trap is sprung, he gets there and has you already for $60 then throws in a price that is 4 times what other plumbers charge.
Total scam, they are taking advantage of people with their price gouging.
DO NOT CALL "Bill the Plumber" I did, to change out a hot water heater. Here is what happened.
They will tell you they have "Flat rate pricing" the reason for this is because they are charging $600 an hour for labor and cant do that with fair hourly labor rates. They charged me $1585 for a Rheem model PROG40-38N-RH62. This is a unit that I can buy for $420 (they get it cheaper) and anyone who know what they are doing can do this job in an hour but they were done in 2 hours. The math works out to be $582.50 an hour.
The original quote was over $2000 and when I argued it came down to $1585 and he acted like he did me a favor. DO NOT USE BILL THE PLUMBER, he thinks he's surgeon!
Funny thing is they are always available when other plumbers are booked out for days so the word is out on these crooks. If you need someone now they will treat you like prey and charge you 4 times what you should pay.
