Fuel tank
- 2008 Honda, 33,000 miles, stored in a garage.
- Gas smell led to a Ford visit.
- Warranty denied due to 1-4-2008 date and fuel tank issue.
I have a 2008 Honda I only have 33,000 miles on it. It is in the garage when not being used.
I started to smell gas in my garage and toke it to Bill Summer Ford they said that I was not on the extended warranty because I purchased the car on the 1-4 -2008. And also said that I needed my hole window wiper replaced because they where bad. My car has not been used to have that many problems with it also I think it's really crappie when it is know their is a fuel tank problem and I'm 5 months over the date for the extended warranty . BILL Summers carged me $53.00 just to look under my car when they also new what the problem was and then 100.00 just to replace my wipers.
I told them not to replace my fuel tank because of the cost to replace it. This car should of not had these problems with such low miles.
Plus I never new there was a fuel tank problem. Friede Hunt
