Bad customer service

Do not buy anything from this store!!!!! They have no customer service.

Beware of there 3 day return policy, which neither salesman told us about. Our stove main burner hasnt worked from 1st time we tried using it and also shots arc/fire from the side of it. They told us could not exchange because we were at day five of having or appliances. Even though the stove could have burnt down our house or electrocuted our kids.....BIG SANDYS DONT CARE....they just want your money.

Service guy checked stove and mis-assembled from the manufacturer(LG) wire pinched (bare) resulting in shorting out to side of stove.I spent $7,000 at this store and this is how they treat there customers. Stove been broke since July 7th......still waiting for it to be fixed.

Broken Sectional

Maysville Ky store delivered a sectional. Because of Coronavirus we were not allowed in room with delivery except for telling them where it should go. We said the setup was fine and they left quickly. Later that evening we discovered several issues. Broken storage box, charger over heats, material damage on storage box, lack of stuffing in a recliner and the second recliner lays back too far. Called next day and told a tech would come. Tech said just repairs and not anything would be replaced. Patch work! On new furniture?? So a month later still waiting on parts when told they would rush order???? Just so disappointed. We have bought several pieces from this place in the past but may no longer consider unless there is satisfactory service.

I bought a Samsung washer and dryer have a problem with the washer this has been months ago understand for the Convoy 19 but I got a message to months ago saying it will be 5 days to order the part and never have got to talk to anyone else would like to know what is going on please update on phone Thursday for 30 minutes got hung up on call back said they would call me back and never did call back Friday got ahold of someone they said they'd call me back Saturday not even a call

I’ve tried now for almost two months to rectify a problem with big sandy and all I get is lies. They take your money and don’t care afterwards.they don’t keep there word on anything. I was lied to by our sales rep who said he was a manager and by his boss which said he was a manager. Is there any truth to big sandy? If so, we have not seen it!!! I placed this order several weeks ago. Today when it was delivered, the delivery men could not assemble the bed because they had not been given the hardware to do so. I called the store and the man I talked to told me he could not do anything for today to get someone here to fix it. I am furious. I have sent a very bad review and I will never buy from this store again. By the way, the delivery men were great and very courteous.

Failure to pay promised refunds and lying to customers

I made a large purchase in-store at their Black Friday sale in November 2019. A month or so later, upon delivery, there were several issues with what was delivered versus what I was originally charged.

I was charged $119.99 for a microwave installation that wasn't needed as the microwave sits on the countertop. I was also overcharged $180.00 for the oven I purchased. I have been told multiple times over the phone that I would be refunded the about I was overcharged. First I was told I would receive a check in the mail.

Then I was told that my credit card would be credited. (It hasn't.) I was even told that my credit card had already been credited even though it hadn't been done. Every time I call to find out where my refund is I'm given the runaround. They say they're looking into it, or that someone will get back ahold of me and then they never do.

I just want the money I'm owed. It's been almost 5 months since I purchased this furniture.

The last time I heard anything back from Big Sandy regarding this issue, they lied and said they already issued me the refund to our Synchrony account (who they use for financing), The problem with that is that those charges were paid via my Discover credit card and were in no way connected to my Synchrony account so that doesn't even make sense.

Bottom line is they owe me this money and finding an excuse they can possibly use to get out of paying me back.

I would never do business with Big Sandy again even if they were giving me FREE furniture. FRAUDS!!!

"Want to give praise to one of your associates , Tim Williams phone number 740-574-****. My husband and I just moved during the current Covid 19 pandemic. I had ordered 4000 dollars worth of appliances from Home Depot and had been told to expect delivery Thursday April 30 ( one day prior to our move in ). I received an email from Home Depot changing our delivery to May 29. Needless to say this was not going to work so I cancelled and asked for a refund. I got on Big Sandy website and chatted with Tim and explained our dilemma. He asked me what I was looking for and told me to hang tight , he would email me some options . Within 20 minutes he emailed two beautiful appliances that were in stock and able to be delivered Saturday May 2.We purchased online and called Tim to arrange delivery . As promised , our fridge and stove arrived at our new home and we could not be happier . Tim went above and beyond and deserves recognition for this . I am a Big Sandy fan now!

Biig Sandy did call me. It was nice they immediately responded. I just wish the sales guy was a little more thorough when explaining stainless steel and it being finger print less. As I was not on the same page as he was.

Issues not addressed

A full suite of kitchen appliances, washer, and dryer were delivered 4/11/2020. The microwave was crushed and quickly replaced. The dented stove, refrigerator, and lack of a kick plate on the refrigerator remain unaddressed. An order for a new refrigerator door was just entered yesterday after several call, texts, and submission of pictures. The stove and kickplate remain unaddressed. Three out of four of the kitchen appliances delivered were damaged, and I feel it has been largely unaddressed.

My first experience with big sandy is not good. We bought a Washer/Dryer and we had it for 5 days and the dryer doesnt work. It wasnt inspected before purchasing. Service guy comes and says he needs to order a part, never calls back. We had to call, they say it takes 3-5 business days. Its been 8. They arent coming until Friday. Customer service basically said oh well. Not a good experience and we wont be back.

I've purchased two sets of front load washer and dryers there within the last 5 years and they continually break down. In addition, we've been without a washer for 4 weeks because they ordered the wrong part. I will never purchase from them again and I've spent $20K there in the last 10 years.

If I could give this store ZERO stars, I certainly would. To start, upon the initial delivery, half of the items to be delivered were broken &;;;;;; were not even brought off the truck. The second delivery was then scheduled for a WEEK LATER, bear in mind this is in a brand new home. The delivery was then delayed another several days. A text message alerted me that my delivery was then to be believed a day earlier & the delivery guy indicated it was for a PICK UP!!!! How can you run an organization this way? Poor customer service, poor all around . I deeply regret anything from this organization & will NEVER purchase anything from this organization again. My couch was purchased from Coconis, just down the road & clearly we should have purchased all the other items there too. Worst purchasing experience I have had in my entire alife.Stay
