Delivery. So I ordered this couch on Thursday and paid for delivery which was scheduled to be on this past Saturday between 8am-8pm.
Was supposed to get a call on Friday to schedule a time for delivery, that never happened. I went ahead and planned to be home that whole day through the time period, since I had no idea when they would come or if they will even contact. So reached out to customer service at about 2pm that day, and was transferred to the delivery company which then said it would be deliverd tomorrow (Sunday the 21st) between 10-2pm. Another day where I just waited the time frame just in case they came, and just like the previous day there was no delivery and at this point that is crazy.
You would think that when a person spends nearly $1000 on a couch. that the customer service would be great and that was not the case. This is probably the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have ever recieved when ordering furniture. It was almost like they didn't want to deliver and could care less about the customers time and lacking what they are supposed to be doing for their job.
Now it's Monday, 5 days after ordering and no delivery nor update.
It's crazy that when you pay the $100 for delivery online, and NOTHING has happened. I will make sure to never recommend Big Lots to anyone and will make sure that my story will be shared on all social media platforms, yelp, and whatever else I can find to leave customer feedback for.Don't

Unhappy with purchase
Purchased 2 outdoor tables costing almost $700.00. Upon receiving tables the legs were rusty, took pictures went to my local big lots was given 10% back totaling about $94.00.
Just recently took the cover off the rectangular table and it was all faded and rusty. Have called customer service 4 times in a week with no results, after asking to talk to a supervisor numerous times I was finally able to talk to one after waiting on hold for over 20 minutes. The issue has still not been resolved.
Waiting to hear back from them. If I had read the reviews previous to purchasing tables I would have never bought them, other customers had the same issues.

Horrible ordering and delivery Customer service no help at ALL!!
Ordered a sofa yesterday morning big lits said i would be contacted by the delivery company with a time but never was. paid for same-day delivery waited around my house all day and it never came.
I called customer service. They were no help at all. I asked since it didnt show up same day if they were going to refund me the extra money, I spent to get same-day delivery and they refused saying theres no guarantee of same-day delivery even though it was advertised and what they charge me extra for! called the delivery company and they said that they would deliver it the following day by 11 AM so the next day I waited around till 12 PM and it never showed so called back to the delivery company and he had to put me on hold and while i was on hold i got a text from them (obviously he sent it while i was taking to him) that said they were delayed.
Right after I received the text, he got back on the phone to tell me that it was delayed, and I would be receiving a call from the driver to tell me what time my sofa would be delivered. Same as big lots told me I finally received a call back And they told me that I would get it but it would be really late when I received it it would be after 7 PM. Ive waited around for two days now and now have to wait all night as well and pray that they dont cancel it since its so late which if I had to bet i would bet they are going to cancel it and say ohhh sorry we will get you by 11am tom we were just delayed. The whole process is just horrible.
Big lots. Customer service is no help. Do not buy same-day shipping. It will not arrive After looking at a lot of reviews.
Everyone says the same thing and big lots will refuse to give you the refund of your money that you paid for same-day delivery. Its just a scam.
