Last year I won 28 gift cards. They charge $8 shipping per card.

A year later, after reporting them to the BBB, I received all the cards in 1 envelope....the postage was only a few bucks. Worst place I have ever had to deal with. And, if you are lucky enouogh to get someone to answer the phone, they totally lie you you and are so obnoxious. I don't understand how they haven't been shut down.

I use 2 other sites now....I win, and my things arrive with a week.

That's how it should be. Also, a friend joined when I did, and her credit card was charged a $150 'membership' fee, which was never disclosed anywhere.

Won 8 bids and never received cards

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

In May, 2014 I won 8 bids for gift cards of various amounts, totaling more than $400. Bidsauce refused to send the gift cards or return my bids.

At first, they said they were having site problems that would be corrected soon. After that, they refused to answer my emails or phone calls. I still keep calling and leaving messages but to no avail. I have just about given up on ever getting my money back or the cards sent to me.

Would love to know if anyone is pursuing a class action suit against these losers.

Leave a message on this board and I will continue to check back. Thanks for listening.

Won 100 Bids and they never let me claim it & ignored my complaint.

Back in March 2014, I won a bid on an item of 100 Bids pack. I tried to claim it but website kept giving me errors when filling out the form online to pay winning bid amount.

I tried every day to go in and pay for winning bid but kept getting same errors and winning 100 bids never posted to my account at all. I tried writing BidSauce about it but they never responded after several attempts. I tried to email them but also went without an answer.

Soon after April 2014, I noticed website went UNDER CONSTRUCTION and till this day has not become active at all. I still have also not received a response to my complaints and my time to claim the 100 bids also expired which means I wasted my time trying to collect a winning item I have placed bids on and won because of failure to communicate or fix the errors on the site by Bidsuace.

I am from N.Y., would my case story be included?

I won approximately over $250.00 that I never received. I called and tried to resolve the issue and they kept saying that I would eventually get paid....hogwash.

I'm thankful that I didn't lose more from the crooks.

Guest

I have thousands of dollars owed to me from Bidsauce. If you ever do get to go to court let me know.

I have tried to get a hold of them and they owe me over 5,000.

in items I paid for.

Not only do you have to buy bids, but as soon as a win occured you had to pay now!!! I just found in and wondering if anyone has moved forward.

Thank you .

BEWARE BIDSAUCE IS A TOTAL RIPOFF!!

Updated by user Oct 25, 2013

It has been 30 days since I submitted my review on this site. I have not heard from Bidsauce, which is no surprise to me. BEWARE of BIDSAUCE!!!

Original review Sep 24, 2013

On November 7, 2010, I won a $50.00 gift card from Home Depot. I paid Bidsauce $7.64 for shipping.

As of today almost 3 years later I have not received the gift card. Bidsauce had so many excuses as to why I have not received it, the best one was under new management (May 2012).I send them several e-mail during the years to no avail until finally I can't get through to them. The following is what Customer Service send me: "Thank you for contacting Bidsauce. Due to the recent implementation of our new ticket system, we are no longer answering emails to support@***.com.

If you need to communicate with Bidsauce, please click on contact support a the bottom of the site. You can create a ticket that will be answered very quickly. You will be emailed a ticket number as soon as you have created the ticket. Thank you for your support as we strive to give faster and better customer support with our new system.

Thanks!" I have done this several times and have never received a ticket.

So there is no way to get in contact with them. If you are thinking of joining Bidsauce..BEWARE, BIDSAUCE JUST WANTS TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU NOTHING WHEN YOU WIN!!!!!

Bidsauce,LLP IS A DISHONEST, ILLEGAL SITE

Bidsauce is not a legitimately run, trustworthy site. Remember the contest they had with the winner being declared based on the most 50 bid packs purchased over a given time frame? They sent out a mass email stating I was the winner. At that point I had not been contacted by them. After sending a support ticket inquiring why I was not not notified personally (of course I was not able to reach them by phone despite numerous attempts to several different numbers. In fact the number listed on their site is a nonworking number) I finally received an email congratulating and acknowledging me on my win of the $500 Walmart gift card. A few hours later they sent an email claiming they made a mistake, as another bidder informed them that she had purchased the most bid packs. They said sorry and please enjoy a $100 gift card instead (which I finally received today!) as a consolation prize!

I consulted my attorney who said that according to California law, they violated contest regulations as well as failing to provide merchandised promised to me.I have also had no success reaching them via phone, and my support tickets or emails do not answer any of my questions.

Good luck to you and to anyone reading this STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE!

Quicken Loans

After refinancing successfully, this company contacted me to sell me home security services. They called my work, cell, and home where I finally answered all in the same day.

I was offered a congrats on my new home purchase for which I explained I only refinanced and would not be interested in their services. I've lived in the home over 13 years and feel I'm safe. This *** responded " what are you going to do when something happens"? Here is a company with all of my personal details, address, etc.

trying to pressure a single woman into buying protection or else what? Who was this person? What info do they have about me? I no longer feel safe in my own home!

I told this *** my 130 lb Rottweiler will be waiting for you at the door while my 6'5" 275 lb boyfriend loads his gun to kill you!

No thanks! I've never seen a worse marketing strategy!

Bid Sauce - Liar's & Thieve's

I bought a pkg of bids & "WON" 4 different things that were to be delivered in 4-6weeks. Well, it's now been 15 months & I've yet to receive anything from them but promises & lies.

They continue to promise that the items will be delivered now that they've gotten things straightened out with their shippers. There has to be something that can be done! Does anyone know what state they are located in? I plan on writing the attorney General & at least saying my piece.

If anyone has any suggestions, please email me with them.

Thanks! sonshine1846@***.com

Bidsauce owes me

I won items and gift cards on Bidsauce last year, they stopped sending me these from July 2010 up to November 2010. When I first called last year they told me it a problem with the shipping company.

I have emailed and called at least twice a month.

It is now over a year and they don't even have the business ethics to at least give me an answer as to what is going on. I don't know who to contact over this but, I do feel so ripped off by this and have no idea who to contact.

Misleading and Fraudulent Methods! Do not trust Bidsauce!

I can't believe I was lured into joining Bidsauce.com, but actually, I can "” because of their misleading tactics.

I joined Bidsauce.com yesterday because I am a Mypoints.com member, and received an email from Mypoints about earning additional parts for signing up. When I clicked on the email, nowhere did it explain how Bidsauce worked. When I saw that Bidsauce was being compared to ebay, it interested me, as ebay has become a disappointment as of late. Also, I saw the reviews you included at the bottom from Wired, New York Times, BBC and other companies, which I later found out were all false and fabricated. Again, no explanation anywhere about how the site works, but a registration form only. So, I signed up thinking that I'd get to read about how this works on the next page. Instead, the next page was a form to purchase your bid boxes.

Now, only after I purchased the bidbox did I recognize the scam. Classic "Bait and Switch." It was even more apparent when I got to see it in action.

I called the customer service department this morning and the representative I spoke to denied that Bidsauce made claims it's compared to ebay or that it has anything to do with mypoints.com. (I have proof of the email as well as the misleading and false website to get you to join.) In addition to this, the representative told me that it's stated in the terms of service that all purchases are non-refundable, BUT the terms of service only comes up AFTER you purchase, not BEFORE, like it should. The customer needs to know all the details before they are tricked into registering.

I'm interested in pressing a class-action suit against them so that they don't continue to scam other people.

Took my money and did not recieve purchase until 6 months later!

In October of 2010 I purchased or "won" a gift card for $50.00. I paid for the card within a few days as well at the $6 plus for shipping and handling.

After 3 month went by, I had still not received my gift card. I called in and I was given one excuse after another. I was even told that the only way I could sprak to a "manager" was via chat (instant messagging). I was promised that I was receive my gift card very soon.

2 more months go by and again,I had not received the gift card nor a coutersy call from their office. It was not until I threatened to take legal action, contact the BBB, and exhaust all other remedies was I promised that my guft card would arrive within 2 weeks. 1 months later it was sent to me. Horrible customer service, Horrible business!!!!

Do not purchase "bids." The money that you spend on bidding on a item, even if only it for $1.50, is 3 x what it would cost you to but the product in the first place.

I spent $100 on bids for a $50 gift card and then had to pay another $6 for shipping and handling. Rip Off!!

Bidsauce...Penny Auctions...Fraud...Scam...!!!!!

I purchased some "bids" through the penny auction. bidsauce.

I won a $50 gift card and paid for teh gift card back in November. To this date, they charged my card and never sent me the gift card.

When I call and ask for a supervisor I am told they only speak to their customers via "live chat." Their customer service is rdue and they do not have answers and even declined to answer when I asked "how long" before I receive the gift card I purchased back in November. They are having "legal battles" with teh company that they work with; however this is simply not the consumers fault and it is the "customers" who are being defrauded!

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHEATED!!!!I tried to buy a 50 bidpack but somehow I ended up buying a 500 bidpack for $350. I contacted BidSause & they sent me a bogus receipt stating that had requested my money be refunded.

That has been over a year ago & I am still out the $350. I too also won several gift cards that I never received.

Today’s date March 5, 2011

Enough is enough. I have given up all hope that Bidsauce has any intentions of honoring the $300.00 in gift cards still owed to me. I knew Nisha was full of bull. How can these people continue to run auctions knowing they have ripped off so many people. Isn’t it a crime to knowingly and intentionally cheat and steal from consumers? It is obvious they have no fear of prosecution, but maybe they should. Since no class action lawsuit is going to happen then maybe they should be prosecuted. It is a crime to charge people for a product they have no intention of delivering.

I won 4 gift cards on August 4, 2010. 7 MONTHS AGO! My Husband and I won 8 more after that. They continued to conduct auctions, take people's money, promote new business and take their money knowing all along that they were not going to deliver. For 5 months they continued to run auctions and make money knowing there was a problem.

They solved their problem by screwing us. Their phone operators lied to us, their chat operators lied to us, supervisors and owners all lied. What is the truth? Is the story they are telling now the truth?

If the situation were reversed we would be charged penalty and late fees. How much does a bank charge for a late payment on a credit card? Bidsauce violated their own terms and conditions not to mention overcharged us for shipping and should be held accountable.

What they have done is criminal and should be investigated. I am definitely going to inquire further and see if something can be done.

Today’s date January 19, 2011

I won 12 x $50 gift cards ($600) dating back 6 months. They did send me 6 of the 12 cards 3 months ago to shut me up. Since then nothing!

Bidsauce claims the merchant processor they used from July to Dec. is holding the funds for the gift cards that were won during that time. If this is true why was I sent half the cards that I won? They said they have a new merchant processor as of December. Any gift cards won from December to now is being shipped right away according to NISHA.

I asked Nisha for the name of the merchant processor that is withholding funds to verify this information and could not get an answer. I called again and again, spoke with live chat, email, nothing. Amanda told me their new merchant processor is c.c.bill but when asked about the previous processor that ripped them off – she did not know.

It’s all BS. She promised that everyone should be receiving their gift cards shortly now that they do have a new merchant.

Bidsauce is a ripoff.

Without explaining fully how their game worked I was hooked for $ 149.00.

I keep writing for a refund but they do not reply. I doubt if all the bidders that they show are real.

The format is just like Bidz, another ripoff auction site that does not have real people. I have written to them every day without getting anywhere.

They just ignore my email which should tell you something.

They try to get you to go Platinum and like a *** I fell for it. This is a recurring charge of $ 14.99 per month and supposedly gives you a better type of goods.

I got ripped off like everyone else to the tune of $3,450.00 in gift card winnings!!!!!! They are a scam and I am sure neither myself nor anyone else will ever see our winnings from these people. Too bad *** like that has to exist.

Guest

Total ripoff, just lost $30 on one item and customer support can never be reached.

Guest

If you threaten to do a chargeback on a recent charge through your credit card they will reverse the charge and consider any gift cards they owe you as paid. They said they "take threats very seriously". Really?

What they just did was get to keep 275 of my wins in gift cards and gave me back 69.95 for one month of platinum and about 2 dollars worth of "penny bids" used to obtain those gift cards. That worked out pretty well for them.

DO NOT BUY BIDS FROM THIS COMPANY

I still have hundreds of dollars in gift cards due from Sept 2010

Guest

Bidsauce does not have any legit customer support, their bogus ticket support request never gets answered, and there is no direct phone number to contact them. ccbill does not handle Bidsauce support issues, only billing.

ccbill , in my mind, is helping Bidsauce rook people out of their money and must be prevy to this scam???? I wouldn't purchase from online sites that use ccbill for their online billing either!

Guest

I was also ripped off from $3,450 of winnings from July 2010 that I never got. I can't get any replies from them and this is total *** Wont answer any email "tickets" or even give me a ticket number.

They are obviously making money from the monthly fees but no one can seem to do anything about it.

I was unemployed and thought I was making more out of my money. What a scam!!!

Guest

I lost my *** at bid sauce which is fine I took the chance to bid on a ipad but what im pissed about is after i lost alot of money and they give me my 250 bids i bought back as there guarantee. now all the cool *** is under platium where they get to give reincurring monthly fees.

so they made good on there guarantee but now I cant bid on anything other then a 50 gift card. bid sauce sucks and I want to sue if theres any lawyers out there class action law suite

Guest

I also got dupped for $30. It looked so good at first and I won a $75 Walmart card but never received it either.

Its been about 6 weeks now and nothing.

Defenite SCAM!! :( :( Pls get a lawsuit

I became involved with bidsauce in October. I purchased a large amount of bids and only won a 50 gift card for TGIF. Thats fine because it was me using the bids what I have a SEVERE problem with is that To this day, 2-24-2011. I did not receive anything. I contact customer service and "MIssy" answered the phone. I asked about my account she verified my name and i asked about my gift card. She staed that due to the last vendor they had, who was withholding funds, that htey had no clue as to when they would be sending anything out that was purchased before 12-15-2010. So if you spent money before that, "according to Missy, who when asked stated that she was the supervisor, the only supervisor in the call center, stated she wold not be able to help me and that I would not be getting my item any time soon."

I hope to GOD that a lawsuit is started soon so that I can get all or a part of my money back. I hope that they are shut down, and know for a fact that they are not real people who are posting because I tried submitting a "testimonial" and it was not approved because it told my story.

Hope someone can get them from scamming more people. I wish I had never accessed the site myself.

Guest

Same here I never recieved my winnings and it's been five months. I'm interested as well to file a class action lawsuit against Bidsauce.
