I bought a Biddeford blanket at Kohls.com on Jan 4, 2017.... Controller stopped working 2 weeks later. Ok.. so I thought it was a faulty one. Can't be a big issue. I returned it to the store and went on line and ordered ANOTHER Biddeford blanket. Well... here we go again. Controller does not work AGAIN. Tried different outlet. Plugging in and out. i bought three electric blankets for 150.00 after a few months 2 stopped working. i tried calling the company. they never returned my call and i waited on hold forever. i won't be buying anymore blankets from biddeford.

First off I would like to say please do not ever purchase a blanket from this company. Secondly I am now on my third blanket that they have shipped me to replace the original blanket that I purchased and all three of them within three days of receiving them have stopped working. I had bought 2 blankets the first one I put on my bed in September 2016 in January 2017 the control started smoking so I put the other one on the bed it had 2 controls worked fine for about a week. The blanket heats up with the controls off. The blankets are a potential fire hazard.

I am extremely unhappy with these blankets. I bought one form the store and it lasted about a week and then I called the company and explained to them that it stopped working and they sent me two new controls and THEY BOTH DIDN'T WORK THE FIRST TIME I PLUGGED THEM IN. This was a huge waste of money and time and I do not recommend that anyone buys a blanket like this. Also, when you call the company you will be on hold for at least 20 minutes.... Read more

I have bought two in the last week and both heat controls had burnt out on within 10 minutes of having them on to heat the blanket I'll never buy another Biddeford blanket ever.. BIG WASTE OF MONEY

Bought one andit lasted one day and then took it back and replaced it with another.The latest one lasted 1 and a half days.Both times before going out there was a smell of burning electric smell.

2-2-17 1100 PST Had technical questions about the Biddeford blanket we just purchased. Tried the phone number. That's a joke. I listened to elevator music for at least ten minutes and your apologies for the lengthy delay. After three tries, reached an operator who promised to connect me with "someone" who could help. I have exchanged my Biddeford electric blanket 5 times in the last 20 days . it just stops working. The controller stops ligting up and the blanket does not heat up... I am going back to the store again today to once in for all get my money back.. I am sad. I wanted it to work. So disappointed in the quality of the product.
