Stole $3000 from single mom

I hired Beyond Buzz to help launch my company’s crowd funding campaign. They stole my hard earned $3000! I am a single mom and I thought this would help me raise money to launch my bakery! They stole money from my two little girls.. how can a company do this? We need to stop them and throw them in jail. I am filing a consumer complaint with the attorney general and am seeking legal action if anyone would like to contact me for a group law suit.

I was Ripped Off by Beyond Buzz!

Beyond Buzz VP of Marketing, Mark Campell claims that the company tests out each crowd funding campaign idea before they take on a client. If the idea/campaign tests well on Facebook, a few days later they send a test report. I received a very positive report that "projected" a minimum funding goal of $200.000.00. The report specifically lists test results and funding sources. My test report listed Facebook ads to be 30% of the funding, PR Promotions to be 25%, social media 10%, and friends and family 4%. They then said they would set up the Indeigogo campaign and would "After we get the project page setup properly, our team will send over the marketing content for approval such as the written PR pitches and an Ad preview for Facebook promotions." Well, unfortunately, they didnt do anything of the sort. They were taking so long to set the Indiegogo page, that I went ahead and set it up myself. They "launched" the campaign and left me in the dark for weeks with no progress, no reports and a campaign that was dead in the water. They made promise after promise and fell short on every one of them. After multiple requests for any documentation of their efforts, the only evidence they provided was a poorly written press release that was picked up by a few obscure travel blogs. No Facebook ads, no social media, and one promotion/press release for $5000. A total ripoff!!! I could go on and on, but will save the details for the attorneys. Everything is well documented in emails because they would never return my calls. Avoid this scam!!

Same situation at Agency 20. They are the exact same company or at least owned by the same people.

If you call the 800 numbers after hours you will even get the same girl answering the phone for Buzz and Agency 20.

They also have the same address listed at the bottom of their proposals. I think they started Buzz a couple years ago because their main agency is still entangled in a major legal dispute with some of their former clients, check it out: https://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2015/04/66397-agency-2-0-comments-on-lawsuit-filed-against-sondors-ebike-2nd-largest-indiegogo-crowdfunding-campaign-ever/

Beyond Buff is a fraud attempting to drain money from startups. Stay away as they want a minimum of $10,000 to talk and that BS you can get for nothing.

NOTE: It has been determined that these "reviews" have been posted by a competing marketing agency. They are written to maximize their SEO presence on Google search ranking in order to damage the company named in these reports. The accuracy or truthfulness of these reviews should be highly questioned by the reader.

Sorry to hear that. Beyond Buzz = TopLevelPR = many other names.

They are not based on LA, or have a real company. They, of course, never worked with SharkTank. Not even with the campaigns they claim on their website.Their team pictures are fakes (stolen). The domain was bought last year, it was a promotion site for beyondbuzz book - NOT their "agency".The http://crowdfundusa.org ad they run = their own site. No real posts, fake comparison and, of course, Beyond Buzz being the winning "agency".

You got scammed. And they, of course, did not run Facebook ads for your campaign.

Not one. They did steal your money.

BeyondBuzz Review - Kickstarter Market Scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
BeyondBuzz (www.beyonzbuzz.com), a site from June 2017, claiming to have worked with Shark Thank, New Wave E-Bikes and The Coverre Cup is sadly enough a scam. Beyondbuzz never worked with any of the campaigns, and especially not with Shark Thank (let the fake Tweet not fool you, it's a fake). Their "Since 2008" is false, as well as the location team information and "reviews" online. If you take a closer look, all reviews do not only source back to when their website came inline in 2017, but all of them are written by people who offer writing services and guest post services on platforms such as Fiverr and peopleperhour. Moreover, their "crowdfunding podcast" is nothing but a gig bought on Fiverr, pay a bit of attention to the audio file or try to verify anything they say in the on Fiverr.com recorded audio file). And finally, the address used as well as fake review blog where also used by toplevelpr, smartboostsystem and several other sites. Look them up, the same scam and approach using medium articles written by fiverr writers and a video bought on Fiverr pretending to be a review of beyondbuzz. They will charge a pre-payment to cover the ad cost (which they do not run) and a % on your sale. You will pay them the prepayment but never get anything back. Not a single backer.

Beyondbuzz Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Crowd.PR, Beyondbuzz, Crowdfundclick Review — Warning it’s a Scam. If you’ve recently been contacted by a “William Henry” (or any of his other aliases he goes) and are looking for crowd.pr review — avoid them all at all costs. Here’s the truth- it’s a scam. One of a long line of his latest scams that have gone by the names of crowdpr.co, Top Level PR, BeyondBuzz, First Wave PR, Crowd PR Guru, CrowdfundClicks, CrowdfundSocial, PRKick, and on and on and on they go. Rebranding and changing their name everytime they get caught. Same old song and dance. Here’s the deal, once you launch a campaign you’ll be immediately bombarded by tons of emails from this company claiming they are the best in the world and on and on. They put on a slick sales pitch but don’t be fooled like I was. They’ll take thousands of dollars from you and will not do a single thing after your campaign has concluded. Want to know why? It’s a scam. Everything from their ‘supposed’ location in San Francisco and Los Angeles to their claims they’ve been in crowdfunding since 2015 (they only registered their domain with their new scam name a few months ago in 2017). Here’s their address they claim to be located at 18 Bartol St, San Francisco, CA 94133. Want to know the truth about their office. Just like them, it doesn’t exist because it’s a virtual office that anyone can pay a few dollars a month and claim it as their mailing address. There’s no physical office space. Why need an office when you can simply wire some money and don’t need to actually do any work afterwards? Fake review / fake testimonials, everything is a well oiled maching to believe you’re getting a top notch service when really you’re just being schemed to hand over your cash with nothing in return. I’m the not only who’s caught on to Crowd PR, toplevelpr and beyondbuzz and their lies. Here’s a few other crowdfunders who also got ripped off. I’ve searched the Internet and found many, many others who have lost a ton of money to these guys: https://www.articleavenue.com/crowdpr-beyondbuzz-review/ http://www.thenewestrant.com/2015/06/attention-anyone-doing-crowdfunding.html https://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/crowdpr-crowdpr/miami-florida/crowdpr-crowdpr-crowd-pr-review-and-scam-miami-florida-141**** https://www.reddit.com/r/kickstarter/comments/7ma47k/crowd_pr_crowdpr_review_latest_crowdfunding_scam/ http://www.kickstarterforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7814&p=38051 https://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/crowd-pr/san-francisco-california-94105/crowd-pr-wwwcrowdprcrowd-pr-llcwilliam-henry-scammed-me-out-of-1000-san-francisco-c-141**** https://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/crowdprco-kyle-staebell-taylor-andrews-steven-andrews/internet/crowdprco-is-a-scam-kyle-staebell-taylor-andrews-steven-andrews-are-criminals-and-sca-136**** http://www.thenewestrant.com/2015/06/attention-anyone-doing-crowdfunding.html https://www.articleavenue.com/crowdfundclicks-crowdpr-and-gogoboosters-scam/ http://crowdfundingforum.com/showthread.php/12490-BEWARE-of-quot-Crowd-PR-guru-quot-SCAM-SCAM-SCAM!/page7?s=6c6c7f20aa5cd71ac62a70d44cd272f5 — Complaint after complaint after complaint. Don’t fall victim to these scammers. You will never see your money again and only be kicking yourself that you didn’t do proper research on what these guys are really up to. And if that’s not enough, you can search any of their older names to see just how many crowdfunders they’ve ripped off throughout the years. Save yourself the grief and the money. Crowd.pr is up to no good, spoiling what should otherwise be a pleasant crowdfunding experience. Avoid at all costs. The fix is in when it comes to crowd.pr. A quick sales pitch, a wire transfer of a few thousand dollars and then *poof* they’re gone. Ignoring emails and when you question them they’ll just bash you and your product as incompetent- deflecting all blame when these crooks haven’t accomplished a single thing. Their case studies they claim are fraudulent and everything about them is a lie. Trust your gut and Avoid that pit in the the stomach feeling when you realize you’ve been taken. They’ve been at this for years. Don’t be their latest victim.

Thomas from Funded Today tried to rip me off charging $3500 to "test" some ads for me only sending me a generic report that didn't show anything or how much was used. It lasted only a few days and Funded Today said they were surprised that it didnt work etc etc but sorry no refunds!

Funded Today literally wouldn't share anything with me and told me bye bye! I would avoid www.Funded.Today and Thomas / Tom or Zach

I had an experience with a Garrett Wright they claimed to be in Los Angeles. But in my case, it was no slick presentation.

Just a lack luster person not interested in my project, or links which they asked for and not viewed. Or the many questions they ask you and do not read. It is all based around a veneer of "everyone wants to use us" mentality. Then the meagre time i had was used on stating the answers again i had already given.

Then guess what busy again. It was all stop and start via email. Call me then not call me. I call them.

Wanted a US$250 to get the test campaign going. This they state nowhere in there advertisements or promotion. Then they claim it is refundable, if is not a project they are interested in? Hello!

How do i know i will get my money back. They have a video link come out of the blue. I did not lose any money. But felt it was best to state my facts to get a true picture of this type of company.

All my senses were pointing to a scam as well.

As the disinterest makes sense then. I told them to shove it.

No Facebook ads, no social media, and one promotion/press release for $5000. A total ripoff!!!I was able to get them to return $2500 by threatening them that I would start a social media campaign with negative reviews on them, and write a rip off report, so I did get that back. Im also doing a charge back on my initial $500 down payment, so hopefully I will get that back as well.

Is there any way to get my other $2000 back? Everything is well documented in emails because they would never return my calls.I did some research on the company and they are not registered with the state of California, so that makes it difficult to sue them.
