My son’s work van developed a problem and had to be towed into the dealership. The van only has 44,000 miles on it and is still under warranty. It sat in the lot for over 2 weeks BEFORE being taken into the shop! Totally unacceptable procedure!! This van holds all the tools needed to do his job which meant he had to keep coming back, out of his way, to grab more parts, more tools because service calls change, tools needed change. The third week the van was taken into the shop and when my son checked in he was told the technician working on it had called out sick!!! Then today, Tuesday of the 4th week, he was told van is ready so he comes, reloads all his tools and takes his leave. Made it to the second light (roughly a mile) from the dealership and the same problem started all over again!! So much for your test driving before releasing policy! First he’d been told it was a trans problem yet they replaced a celinoid pack!?! Friday the 8th of September it will be exactly ONE MONTH since this nightmare began. Needless to say, not one person in our immediate family, extended family, circle of friends, anyone we work with, share church fellowship with, clients, customers or casual acquaintances will ever hear one good word about your products, sales force, service department or technicians! FYI my son is not some hard driving “Bobby Unser” wannabe, he’s 49 and a well respected technician in his field and he would never treat any customer in such a sloppy, offhandedly way!
