Kia does not stand up to the warranties promised you at the point of purchase. When we bought our 2015 Kia Soul, we were told that the warranty included free batteries and tires.

We were reminded about oil and filter changes and where provided, at some time, coupons. Our Kia has never been to any place but Bev Smith Kia in Stuart, Fl. At our very recent oil change, my husband was told the battery was low and we needed a tire. He asked about the warranty and was told Kia doesn't do that any longer and because we didn't have some special service (no one told us), our warranty was null and void and we needed to pay over $300.00.

This is an outrage! We were seriously considering trading in our Kia Soul for a new model because we do love our car.

Too Bad!! We will go elswhere.

False and deceptive mail advertising

Updated by user May 22, 2013

Until I received email from this site this has been all but forgotten. Since this incident only reinforces my low opinion of Kia dealerships and others that perpetrate these scams, like Advantage Ford for example I did however contact a salesman at the time and he said that most cars depreciate $10,000 immediately after being sold.

Original review Apr 21, 2013

I have no intention of purchasing a vehicle but one day my mail box is stuffed with junk mail and the one from Kia had been the most intriguing. The contents of the letter had a check on top for $3000 and under was my name and vehicle in bold print.

They go on to say how they will pay 100% of the MSRP even if you do not want to trade-in. "The only adjustments will be made for mileage .10¢ to .55¢ depending on models and reconditioning." I was so looking for a fair price on my RX8 with under 26K and so I contacted the dealership and was eventually connected to a salesman who went on to say how new cars depreciate $10,000 in the first year and that this 2 day event only applied to trade-ins.

So then I was satisfied that it was a complete farce but later on felt that there should be some accountability for these flagrant lies. In light of newly found information I went on to read in very fine print at the bottom that in spite of what was stated as a per mile deduction there will be a minimum of 12,000 miles per year to figure the total deduction.

Rip Off Stealership

Don't waste your time. They bait & switch on their offers.

Just looking to get you in the door to rape you. I didn't buy & would never. Scam artists all over Flrodida they are no exception. Waste of time.

Only typing this because they need 100 words. I was done after the first 2 sentences. They're not worth more than that.

Wasting your time and ripping you off is apparently what they do.

I wouldn't buy an oil filter from them. Will be sure to tell everyone I know about the way they wasted my time in their stealer ship.
