Poor Customer Service

Before our session with Betty I loved her vintage style and shared her photos and recommended her to local friends. However, after my session with her, I am completely turned around. I even mentioned to my friends that I NO LONGER recommend her anymore. After the session with my kids, we were eagerly waiting to see the pictures. The sneak peaks she posted were cute. What we received however was suprising. The photos we got were nothing like the sneak peaks. They were not edited. There was a huge difference between the sneak peaks and the images given. We did not receive the sneak peak images. Not only were they not edited, the electrical outlet was visible, fabric wrinkled, and you could see Betty's reflection of her body and camera in one image. My children were not looking in 90% of the images. There was only 1 image that I liked. When I asked for the files of the sneak peaks, she encouraged me to purchase them for $25/image. That it was unfair to other customers for her to give me more images. Downright baffled! How can a photographer feel comfortable giving clients straight of of the camera images? And poor at that. I do love her newborn photography, but her toddler/family work is unsatisfactory and you can see that for yourself on her page. I am also unconvinced that the photos she shares are actually images that customers receive. The poor customer service is really what made me write this review. I would not go back and I made sure to tell family and friends. What you see on her page, might not be what you get!

I feel like the person writing this review although anonymous is obviously an upset client who received her session after a model call that ensured that she would receive 5 edited images for FREE. When reviewing the images I realized that the sneak peek image was slightly blurry and replaced that image with a high quality image that was not.

If there was an image that went onto the disc that was not edited that was by accident as I edit ALL IMAGES, I give nothing SOOC to a client.

Therefore THIS CLIENT DID NOT PAY FOR HER SESSION IT WAS FREE...

When she asked for other images i reminded her that the offer was for 5 images not more and that if she'd like to purchase others that was possible at $25.00 per image the going rate for Photographers I believe. So the reason for being upset is the fact that I wouldn't GIVE her anymore images than what I agreed to in the first place.

This session was for Christmas Mini Sessions that clients pay $50.00 for 5 images, a special package.

I had paying clients, who only received 5 and paid for their session, why would I give someone who didn't pay more images than a client who paid, that was my reason to the client, she was upset about it, without reason in my opinion.

I have had a couple clients unhappy with how sessions go over the few years, I offer a retake and the client is satisfied and is a returning client, I would have done the same if this client had of voiced her discontent to me personally instead of on here.
