- - The agent did not represent us as stated.
- - She is helping the seller.
- - She won't wait for us to arrive for the home inspection.
Our so-called Buyer Agent has not represented us as stated. She did not help us negotiate a price for the home we wanted to purchase, keeps giving us unrealistic dates for closing, inspections.
Won't wait until we arrive in the state to be present with the home inspection.
Just absolutely terrible experience. She is definitely helping the seller.
- Unrealistic dates - pressure

Taking money under false pretense Tenant Vs. Broker
- - Apartment shown and accepted.
- - Told to pay BH&G for paperwork; thought it was a deposit.
- - Lease signed with Ivone Godoi; first rent and deposit paid.
Lang Reality Cheryl Kern had showed me a apartment that I excepted. Mrs.
Kern then ask me to write out a check to Better Homes & Garden Realty to start the paperwork thinking I was paying a security deposit. Three days before I moved in I met with Mr. Kern And the (Landlord) Ivone Godoi to sign the lease agreement. At this time I wrote out a check first months rent & first month deposit.
This is when I found out Better Homes & Garden had nothing to do with this lease agreement. I called BH&G Shannon Hagler office Manager she explained this was a commission check so don't pay the last months rent to get your money back. Which is wrong in any contact.
So this check went form a commission to a second Security Deposit. I have been fighting for the return of this check for the last three months.

Glenn White and the complaint on July 1, 2019 with Shannon Hagler Better Homes & Garden Really.
- - Two security deposits were charged; one turned into a commission.
- - The issue is described as bait and switch; the company hasn't contacted them.
I’m a senior living in a 55+0ver community riding my time out. Now asking myself.
Why I’m getting hit with two security deposits and one of them turning into a (bait and switch) becoming a commission? I know some how there is justification which we’ll never see on the lease. So the only thing that comes to mind is. For a company and there employees to put themselves out there in this way, ls this all worth it?
All for a commission. Some how this question is just not going away. I just moved in to this new place.
So Ignoring the problem is just bad business. I am not the problem, I am just becoming one.
This has also been going to all the organizations, check bottom of the page.
I still not have been contacted by this company.
Realtor scam
- - Renter paid Realtor commission, owner should pay it.
- - Deposit was a nonrefundable commission.
- - A BBB West Palm Beach Office complaint was filed.
Complaint On Better Homes and Garden Shannon Hagler 561-935-**** Office Manager and Realtor 250 West Indiantown Rd Suit 103 Jupiter, FL. 33458 5**-**7-7292 5**-**5-7469 5**-**7-7272
I am a RENTER and payed a Realtor commission on a property that the owner should had payed.
First it was told by me it was just a deposit and it was stated on my lease.
Then five day before I moved in I questioned this deposit. Shannon Hagler Stated that this was a Commission and I would not get this back at the end of the lease. She suggested for me not to pay the last month of the lease to get my money back. This would of been foolish on my part knowing the owner of the property would of held my original deposit and would of influenced my credit score.
I also at this time went to the Better Business Bureau West Palm Beach Office to file a complaint.
I would of thought a higher stander for this business.
P.S I have been flooded with phone numbers since this complaint. So I have stopped picking up the phone.
Preferred solution: Full refund
RUDEST AGENTS AROUND
- - Agents treated me poorly.
- - They hire anyone with a pulse and money to use the brand.
- - I came from Montana for a vacation home and was disappointed.
Every single agent I spoke to while looking for a new home, treated me like i was less than human.... Don't waste your time with their real estate agents here from Better Homes and Gardens, they will hire anyone with a pulse and a check book to pay them for using and sullying the name Better Homes and Gardens.
I simply couldn't believe that I called from Montana and had the idea that I may like a Vacation home. Boy was I wrong, I wont even spend my vacation money to go back to Florida or at least anywhere near Ft.
Lauderdale near my kids or Hollywood near my wives parents. I wish you all the best in the future, but not when people get treated like this.
Jolen Thompson and Mark Lemmon from BHG disrespected us tremendously.
- - Agent stopped phone contact and only emailed.
- - Broker and agent were rude.
- - We hired an attorney to terminate the purchase agreement.
We listed our home with this " highly recommended agent ".
As soon as we started asking her questions about the contract and the offer that she bring to us ( why the offer was experied almost 48 hours ,why the counteroffer was so confusing, etc.) she got pissed and stop ant comunication by phone.,she would only comunicate with us by email.
Confused we called his "broker " Mark Lemmon ( then we later found out that they are very " close " friends if you know what I mean...) which by our surprise was at worst as she is ,he treated me like *** calling me difficult, why I was asking so many questions and basically calling us ignorants.I asked him to assign us another realtor and he said no.Both of them treated us like ***,send us harsh and rude mails and basically disrepect us.
I ended hiring an attorney and request to this happy couple to terminate the purchase agreement.
I haven't heard from them yet,but I'm sure they will insult us again.Good thing I got a good attorney at list.
I will keep you guys posted ,hopefully this nightmare will end soon.
Please DO NOT HIRE JOLEN THOMPSON as your agent ,you will regret it very much.
*just to make it clear I'm refering to Jolen Thompson Realtor from BHG Dessert Reality,Henderson,Nevada.
Thank you so much for your time!!!!
