map-marker Ann Arbor, Michigan

Beth Rose held an auction on my property in Ann Arbor Michigan in October of last year, selling private property. She had indicated that she charges a flat fee of 30%, and said there were no additional charges. She ended up sending an invoice charging many thousands of dollars more than the 30% for clerk fees and set up fees, which should have been included! She had said the buyers were permitted to return the next day to retrieve any items they could not take with them. She had no one there to supervise and many buyers complained some of their items had been taken by others. Also, she has "regulars" that follow her from place to place. One of them is a man named Jeff who is a thief. Beth Rose promised me that if Jeff did no return the items, she would reimburse me. She never did and now refuses to take our calls. I intend to sue Beth Rose and suggest you find someone else to conduct an auction.
