Consumer Beware - Sale items are final sales
Consumer beware - If you purchase a sale item, it is a final sale, and the item is not returnable for a refund even if it doesn't fit. I am out the sale price of $55 for mesh cropped cover-up that is way too small to wear.
I will never order from this company again. Further, their clothing is over priced for the quality.

BEWARE AND DO NOT SHOP AT THIS SITE
Please beware if you are planning to purchase anything from this seller. This website is not up to par of 2015 online shopping which I do almost 90% of all my shopping for myself, my kids and gifts to others.
Anyway, I have an upcoming trip to Hawaii for my niece wedding next March 2016 and was shopping for a bathing suit. My girlfriend showed me what she bought at Nordstrom Vitamin A 'Neutra' One-Piece Swimsuit for $180 which I thought was sexy/classy and high quality that would hug to my body. Of course, I didn't want to be rude and try hers on and was thinking to go to Nordstrom. Having 2 kids I didn't have a chance to make it to the store to try it on and assumed that it's returnable with it being a swimsuit and nowadays most merchants are flexible, the strictest policy I've seen was 14 days.
The sites I shop most is Neiman Marcus which I know the quality of the brand names and the return policy is so flexible as Nordstrom. I've also a frequent shopper at Bebe, ShopBop and other high end stores. Anyhow, I purchase this swimsuit and the quality was not the same, not as thick and wrinkly like a returned item from previous customer when it was regular price. I immediately call the seller to find out how I could return it and was told it is NOT returnable since it is a SALE item and it's FINAL sale.
This is the first time I bought from this merchant and had assumed same quality and didn't intend to return and failed to look up their return policy. I'm just so use to having the Final sale items marked in red "FINAL SALE" next to the price of the item where you could NOT miss it. I think it is bad business practice, because it doesn't take much to put a fine print on the sale item, especially near the price of the item where shopper would not miss it and aware that they could not return if purchased. After all, a successful business would want a happy customer to return to the site to buy other items and to refer their friends and families.
However, this merchant just coldly told me that it is a sale item and you cannot return it. Then she walked me to the policy where it states all sale items are final sale. Why wouldn't they want to make an effort to let the buyers aware of this before purchase the item, instead my invoice I see a HUGE 18-20 font size in RED FINAL SALE! Had I known that I wouldn't purchase the swimsuit until after I try it on at the store.
So to say, it seems like this merchant skip the step to add the fine print on the sale item before you click the Place Order and stuck with the item even it doesn't fit you properly or it is not the quality that you expected. No wonder it's like 50% off, because I paid $100 for it but I wouldn't want to pay even $20 if I'm uncertain on quality or whether it would look good on me. On top of that, I would definitely not purchase a swimsuit ONLINE without trying it on and from a merchant with a strict policy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MERCHANT.
The phrase, you get what you paid for applies here and I learned it the hard way. :-( I wouldn't want any other buyers to go through what I went, very upsetting and feel cheated! I will definitely report to better business bureau about this merchant.
I'm certain that this company won't last long and will eventually go out of business or get sue because of their business practice is UNETHICAL! They can only cheat each customer one time and lose the customer for life and the powerful marketing as WORD OF MOUTH will spread faster than they could sell.
I really learned my lesson the hard way the low prices they offered, perhaps, the items have defects, returns from the high end merchants like Saks, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, etc.
- Not shopper-friendly at all not being clear on their policy
- Business practice seems like a scam
- Making buyers feel trapped not aware items are not returnable
Preferred solution: Full refund
Bestswimwear.com won't respond and owes me money
I bought a two piece swim suit form Bestswimwear.com. I returned the top for a different size. It never came, nor would they respond to my requests.
Later, I returned the bottom part of the suit, and now the post office says it is undeliverable at their address. They have my money and I have half a swim suit that I don't want! (Not without the top!) The worst part is losing $143.00, but just as frustrating is their lack of communication.
I've filed reports everywhere I can find online, including the BBB. Do not do business with this faudulent company! I've seen so many other complaints.
Bestswimwear didn't refund my return!
I ordered a 2 piece swimsuit (sunset separates) from Bestswimwear. The bottoms did not fit so I ordered 2 more bottoms in different sizes.
After receiving them, I wanted to return all three. I followed the instructions for return and sent them back. A month and 1/2 later, my return came back to me saying it could not be forwarded, the address didn't exist. I have tried contacting by email and phone, but can't get a response.
I am stuck with 3 bottoms and a top, and a loss of $233.00! Don't order from them!!!
Another complaint regarding Best Swimwear
I ordered a swim suit from bestswimwear.com. They charged my credit card on June 29 for $178 and sent me an email saying when it was shipped, I would receive an email and tracking number.
I never received the email nor did I ever get the swimsuit. I emailed them on July 30. I received an auto email saying they were moving their offices and could not be reached. No one has ever responded to my email.
I called the number on the website, and you get a recording saying the same as the email.
I find it hard to believe it takes over a month to move your office or respond to your customers. The telephone number shown on my receipt has been disconnected.
Bestswimwear.com wouldn't exchange a defective product
I purchased a swimsuit from bestswimwear.com. I wore it once and washed it by hand and hung dry it once.
During the washing process the bathing suit bleed. There was a brown stripe and it bleed in several places into the other colors. I contacted them and asked for a replacement suit for the defective product. They wouldn't help me.
I've had a girlfriend who had a similar problem with a local retailer and they took the defective suit back and gave her a replacement. This is what I was asking for from bestswimwear and they wouldn't even help

I ordered a caftan to match my Gottex suit ($258, and when I didn't receive i ct and called, customer service said the company had changed hands, but they would give me credit to use online. I certainly won't order anything from them, because I am sure I would not receive it.
Bestswimwear.com is a scam. I advise everyone to not even test your luck.
Having purchased a swim bottom for $90 and never receiving it, I find myself luckier than other people I've read about who have lost upwards of about $500! It seems likely that I will never get my money back, however, I want to prevent others from the same pitfall.
EMAIL ALL WEBSITES THAT LINK TO OR REFERENCE BESTSWIMWEAR.COM AND TELL THEM THAT THEY SHOULD NOT BE ENDORSING A FRAUDULENT WEBSITE! It shocked me that a respected designer's website, Vitamin A Swimwear, links to bestswimwear.com an a valid authorized vender.
Just remember that name: Claude Dauman. Maybe one day he'll get what he deserves.
I have neverr received my money nor do I expect to. A rep from the Better Business Bureau said these cases are rarely prosecuted b/c each amount is too small.
I think if we got together and tried some sort of class action suit or joint prosecution in LA, we could do something. This is why these creeps can get away with this *** -- no one ever stops them.
I have been trying to get a hold of them since August of 2008 and I am out $464.00. Two of the three items were on "backorder" and never received and the third I sent back right away and have never been able to contact them again. SOOO MAD.
They never sent my suit! I'm out $260.00 and pay pal won't refund my money!
Me 2 I have been dealing with them since May!!!!!!! Has anyone got their money back????????
