BestMow Locked My Mower After Purchase — No Support for Used Buyers

AI Highlights
  • - Used BestMow stopped working after the activation code rollout.
  • - Support was hostile and refused help; proof of purchase, no ownership transfer.

I purchased a used BestMow robotic mower after doing research and seeing no warnings about activation codes or restrictions on secondhand ownership. The mower worked perfectly for three weeksuntil BestMow rolled out a new activation code system.

Since I bought it used, I didnt have a code, and the mower became completely unusable.

I contacted BestMows customer support and was met with hostility. They accused me of being scammed or stealing the unit, even though I had proof of purchase. They refused to help or offer any resolution.

Apparently, some original buyers were subscribing for one month and then selling the units.

BestMow seems to have no system for transferring ownership or supporting secondhand buyers, yet continues to allow these sales to happen without warning. As of last week, there was still no notice on their website about this issue.

If youre considering a robotic mower, I strongly recommend looking at other brands that respect their customers and offer proper support.

User's recommendation: Find another robot mower company.
