$12,560 NEW roof, so badly done, had to hire another roofer
- - A new roof was installed for a home sale by Best Roofing, Co.
- - Inspector finds issues; Cooper won't review, so buyer hires another roofer.
New roof installed for home sale by "Best Roofing, Co." owned by Ed Cooper, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Not even two weeks later, the buyer's inspector report comes back with two issues that have to be fixed before closing.
Ed Cooper, upon receiving photos of the issues that did not pass inspection, says that the inspector doesn't know what he's talking about, and refuses to even take a look at the roof. He clearly didn't even inspect the work that his subcontractor did, or he would at least have seen the cracked shingles that will let water in.
I have to hire another roofer.
Lord knows what this will cost, how many more issues will be found, and if I have to start over with another $13K roofing job.
Hope it doesn't rain before then. And it's entirely possible that this home sale deal will fall through because of him.
