Verified ReviewerDeceptive Trade, Fraud and Fraudulent Inducement
- Vehicle misrepresented on Ebay Motors and Facebook.
- Exterior peeling; rust on calipers; possible interior mold; demands $12,750 refund and pickup.
Received Vehicle in question on 10/19/2024 from Seller and Dealer, Best Deals Auto Sales & Detailing in Margate, Fla. and sent this Demand Notice as follows:
Please receive this as a Demand Notice based on all the texts and emails I've sent since receiving the 2012 Mercedes Benz SLK 250 Vin# {{Redacted}}
The vehicle was mis represented and not as advertised on either Ebay Motors or on your facebook page under Best Deals Auto Sales and Detailing.
I am placing you on Notice that the vehicle has extensive clear coat peeling all around the full exterior of the vehicle, it has rusting on all the brake calipers which indicate possible rusting elsewhere as well and also shows signs of possible mold in the interior.
All of these are possible signs that this vehicle has been involved in flooding or high water issues that have effected the exterior, the interior as well as most likely mechanical and electrical issues as time goes on.
None of these issues were disclosed in any of your listings and all were conceiled in a clear attempt to hide these issues.
I am Demanding either a full refund of both the $11,500 paid via wire transfer as well as the $1,250 in transport costs for a total of $12,750.00 and upon refund in full you can pick up your vehicle where it was delivered on this date, 10/19/2024.
I will consider keeping the vehicle only after a full inspection of the vehicle to determine if it's a flood vehicle or not and to see what all it requires to make the vehicle as represented in your advertisement listings and your agreement to pay in full for any and all repairs and replacement required to make the vehicle as represented.
In the event you elect to do nothing and stand behind your AS IS sales contract which involved Fraudulent Inducement and False and misleading claims and representations then I shall proceed forward with claims and complaints both civil and possible criminal if determined to exist wherever they may exist involving this False and misleading transaction.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Do yourselves a favor and Stay far far away from this Dealer-Individual.
