Berkshire Hathaway (Seminole Chevrolet) misrepresented itself as an agent for Online Car Gurus to acquire my vehicle. Although I asked should I payoff the vehicle and get the PA title since I would be there for Thanksgiving, Their agent (Russell) said in front of a witness that I should get the check in the mail 7-10 days ,”…it would delay the process (waiting for tile after payoff) as they could do this faster electronically”.

At no time was the “dealer policy” discussed or provided to me. The vehicle was picked up on 11/20/2023 under false pretenses. I have contacted the BBB and the dealership will not honor their word. My next step is Social Media, TV outlets, State Attorney General and the FL Dealers Association as I have been unable to resolve the matter.

The check was promised in no later than 10 business days (05DEC2023)… today’s date…(08DEC2023) The business office (Luda Finnick) on 04DEC2023 stated they would not release the check until a paper title was received and it might be March!

Now is this retaliation for complaining? They have the car now for 3 weeks and no check… Any suggestions on next steps?
