Don't waste your money!

I've been a fan of Berkshire Blankets for years, often purchasing for myself and for gifts. Dec. 2, 2019, I purchased a King sized Velvet Loft blanket in Heron Grey from their website. Washed it according to instructions in cold water and line dried. Brought it inside and piling all over me and my house. I placed it on the bed thinking I could use a lint roller and clean it up. It didn't work, the lint balls rolled around and ended up all over the place. Contacted the company and received a generic reply 3 days later. I could return the blanket if I re-washed it a few more times and it was still shedding. Why would I want to go through all the mess all over again and re-wash? I had to strip my bed and rewash my sheets and pillowcases because of this. I told Berkshire in my email I was going to donate the blanket, but I was too embarrassed to donate, as it looked horrible. I took it to the dumps and have since purchased a blanket of another brand without issues. I wouldn't have minded the loss so much if it were a purchase made at Home Goods or another outlet, but I spent almost $80.00! Made in China enough said.

Questionable return call delays. Not happy about blanket I ordered.

They make nice, comfy Fleece blankets. We've bought a few at Home Goods. Then I ordered an Extra Fluffy, Extra Large Throw from their website. However, it was shedding small puffs of material wherever it was laid. And worse, just handling it, it would come off in my hands. So I called their 800 number to complain and get a refund. That was complicated. I should expect a return call within 24 hrs. Two days later no call. I called a second time. Same story. I will hear from them within 24 hrs. All too strange to me. I will return it at some point and never order from their website again.

Poor customer service, item not what was paid for

Ordered a blanket over two months ago from their online store. In its place was sent a significantly cheaper blanket from their line. Contacted customer service and without much apologies, they asked to return it. Today after a long wait, received the wrong blanket again. It seems deceiving because a lot of people might not pay attention to the tag and not note the difference without being familiar with their product lines, which have similar colors. Also I so far haven’t heard from the manager though I’ve asked to be contacted numerous times. Some of the phone agents also responded rudely after politely asking to speak with manager. This makes me not trust Berkshire company and I just want my money back.

Worst Customer Service Ever DO NOT RECOMMEND-poor customer service. Bought this blanket and hoped to buy more if it worked out. Right after I received it I put it on the bed and then saw that they had begun a sale on their website. I called and asked if I could adjust to the sale price and I was told I would have to ship my one day old blanket back and repurchase. I told them that made no sense and left my info for a callback from a supervisor. It's been WEEKS with NO RESPONSE. Terrible customer service! I just bought my daughter's blanket from a store that offers fair resolutions and actually responds to it's customers.

They have changed their quality of the extra fluffy blankets. They used to be the bomb, whole family loved them, now they are thin, staticky and no better quality than a cheap walmart blanket, soooooo disappointed.

Berkshire Blanket ignoring us

We have sent three emails to Berkshire Blanket regarding the condition of their blanket. It was the second one we bought. The first one we loved it, so we bought another which was identical to the first. It sheds so much even after washing, that I have to use a clothes brush on my sheets. The shedding is even in my hair. When you wash a dark sheet and see that it is now a different color hanging on the line with the color of the blanket you know that there is a problem with shedding. They won't even bother answering our emails. If we would have known this, we wouldn't have purchased the second blanket. We will remember this when we need to purchase other blankets.

Terrible shedding -- fluff all over the house. Took 2 full vacuum bags and several days to clean up.

Customer service was reluctant to refund cost, but I was persistent! Check out American Blanket company for a wonderful non-shedding blanket!!!
