Have you ever seen the show American Greed?
Well I like the concept of the company. They are trying to get most done in a deal.
Now how much facts it hold would be a question to which I need answer. 1st it takes over a week for some one to call you. Then you find out well that was not type of the business you were looking for, you just wasted a week or more.
The business you are selling has to be super secret. Well in all I think its waste of time.
Dear Manny: Thank you for your post. Years ago, for the convenience of potential buyers that contact us, we set up an online system that allows buyers to electronically sign a non-disclosure form, while simultaneously setting up a phone meeting with a member of our team to discuss the business opportunities, at a time convenient for you.
We have found that buyers have commended our process because it eliminates the “phone tag” back and forth. Because of the quality of our business opportunities, occasionally the wait time to speak with a member of our team might be longer than anticipated. If that was your experience, we apologize.
With regard to the business for sale being “super secret,” we do have a responsibility to our clients to maintain the confidentiality of the business being sold. Therefore, the information prior to the call with us is limited to the type of business, geography, revenue and cash flow.
Full information about the business is provided during the initial call.
Again, thank you for sharing your experience, as feedback like yours helps us to provide better experiences in the future.
This is a response to Mr. Michael Leneghan who posted the above message. Mr. Leneghan purchased a business in December, 2008 through our firm. Mr. Leneghan, his accountant and his attorney, did their due diligence and had an ample opportunity to review the records that the owner of the business provided. Their collaborative review resulted in the conclusion that all material presented was accurate, true and correct.
Furthermore, after the acquisition and against the advice of the previous owner, Mr. Leneghan proceeded to change the business mode by moving the business out of state and alienated some of his employees and customers. In addition, the timing of this acquisition coincided with the global economic downturn which affected not only this business, but many businesses throughout the country.
This was certainly an unfortunate incident and we are truly sorry that Mr. Leneghan was not successful; but there are no grounds for the above mentioned accusations. Through his attorney, Mr. Leneghan attempted to file a law suit against everyone involved in this transaction. The judge ruled that there were no grounds to pursue a lawsuit.
We are aware that Mr. Leneghan is disheartened as he has posted complaints like this on other web sites. These web postings are an attempt to discredit our firm; however, there are absolutely no grounds for his accusations.
