Thank you Jan Jurcisin, whether accurate your statement or not about communicating (which as you have read emails from me and complaints filed before me on your communication's stalling tactics and the completion of our good faith contract, there is still a lack of communication so nothing is new after 11 months when you said completion of filing petition would be in three months). This is just another way to delay your obligation and stated commitment to return my money without dispute as J Kevin Benjamin related in a two page email sent to me as to why he failed to complete contract. You and your people have left me no choice since you give no refund or are attempting to do so.
Jan, as I move forward with getting the truth out about your "firm's" unethical business practices on the internet and in the handing of bankruptcies, to the Pa Attorney General, US and State Representative here in Pa., and the FTC please know that you have hurt many people's lives that have had their property seized by your actions. All you had to do was return my retainer money for none fulfillment of our contract and the illegal collection of court filing fees that you still hold illegally and I would have gotten a lawyer that could complete a simple chapter 7 filing in a timely manner. I trusted you.
Check out "Scambook" (who by the way sent you a reregistered letter not signed for by you or with 8 attempted phone contacts with you non-returned). Try using Google and the search topic-- complaints Benjamin Legal Services . I retained Scambook to file a complaint on the internet about your fraudulent practices and they are but one company that does this. At least with these small fees to file complaints, anyone doing a search of your company for future bankruptcy decisions will find the truth in your practices with enough postings from various sources. Each posting will generate a higher profile of hits to get these complaints to the top when searching for a "law firm" to use. But then again, you close your firm's named company and reopen a new firm changing the business title, amazing, but the evidence is building. And I am going to keep putting it all together.
Just in my short research I have found a legal court case filed in Kansas for fraud against your company. You have used fraud in Va., California, Illinois, and Pennsylvania to name a few to do services, accept fees, but not completed contracts and do not return collected money. Jan is to offer one story after another as to why completion of filing for courts is not done (busy, holidays, need more help, misplaced, overlooked, still checking, etc.) You change your contact phone numbers, do not respond to calls, or close a number as out of service so people can not reach your company.

I was a victim of this scam also. Out $2,600.
Another scam. Did not get caught by the first supposedly internet legal law firm scam, but Benjamin Legal Services seemed honest upon first talking.
I paid the required retainer fees(over 2000) and filling fees(over 500) and nothing was done. Repeated attempts to contact then through some woman named Jan (contact person) proved fruitless and all phone lines led to her.The information they supplied me about a chapter 7 proved wrong and I ended up in a legal lawsuit because they did not act in appropriate timely manner costing me an additional 8000 as well as having to file a chapter 13 at 6000 more.
This company, as I read other complaints is to be avoided at all cost and I hope the people fooled find a way to get these scam artists arrested and if Benjamin is a lawyer-- then he tp be disbarred. Jerks!
:roll I have called the BBB in Chicago for this same run around and filed a complaint with the bar association of Ill. for the investigation of J Kevin Benjamin.
It got to the point where phone calls and emails were not answered and then I find their phone numbers changed or out of service.
Crooks. ScamArtist :p
Benjamin was to file a Chapter 7 for me and I did not hear from them when I called and left messages. As time approached for court I received a filing for a Chapter 13 which was never discussed.
I called to find out why and was treated coldly by Mr. Benjamin himself.
Yea, they did the same to me and I called the FTC :(
