No development. The office refuse to help and the agent went back on any and all agreement to pay prior to us releasing the escrow back to the buyer. We were stuck with the damage and having to pay for it.
Jennifer Weithem is the post unprofessional realtor I have ever dealt with. Dishonest and rude, complete lack of integrity, not to mention standing by her own statements.
- Unprofessional and dishonest agent
Preferred solution: Information for the termite company whose agent caused the damage in my home and $75 dollar refund she promised to pay to our agent, than refused once the escrow money was refunded to the buyer.

AWESOME COMPANY!
What an awesome company and most pleasureable remodely experience! benchmark Custom Interiors was a referral from a friend and we are so pleased.
The price was more than competitive and the emodel was exceptional. These guys are attentive to detail and take pride in their work. So happy we got the referral!!!!
My wife found Benchmark from a friend. She asked me to chime in on this review.
We really enjoyed workinig with Mike and his guys.
From start to finish he always delivered what he promised and than some! We couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of the project!
Benchmark Custom Interiors and Design Michael Sweeney President - Rip Off, did not deliver.
Do not use Benchmark Custom Interiors and Paint Co, Apex North Carolina, Michael Sweeney President. Not only did he lie about being a General Contractor, he was never here to do the work.
What was to be a two to three week job turned into months of being ripped off and we were left at risk with exposed wiring, electrical shorts, unfinished work. Only thing this company can do is charge you double/triple and bring in others to do the work for him. We would never use this company again. I have floors squeek from his work and other items that were never done right.
In the end I had to throw this *** out from arguing with us.
Homeowners beware of this rip off artist. You are better of hiring your own quality subs and supervising the work yourself which he could not even do.
My real estate misrepresented property lines
I purchased my first house one year ago from Benchmark Real Estate, Inc. in Lowell Arkansas. As a first-time home buyer, I hired a real estate agent employed by Benchmark to help me with all the details involved in finding and purchasing a home. The house in question is located in the rural community of Gravette, Arkansas. On the west side of the house is a fence which was erected by my neighbor. The east side of the house abutts an open lot with a gravel road running through the center of it. The road leads to the neighbor who lives behind me. My agent stated the neighbor had purchased a portion the property from the previous owners of my house. Concerned about this information, I asked my agent if she had the most recent survey of the property. She stated she didn't know but she would find out. She called someone on her cell phone and after hanging up, she proceeded to point out and walk what she said was the east property line to my house. She noted the property line was approximately 15 to 20 feet from the east side of my house. My finacee was present at the time and witness to what she said as she walked the east line. My agent, along with my finacee returned for a second visit to the house. My agent again repeated and pointed out the east property line as being 15 to 20 feet from the side of the house. Satisfied with the information she supplied I purchased the house. Four months later I found out the neighbor who lives behind me property line runs three feet from the east side of my house. I called my agent and explained what was going on. She said she would speak with the seller's agent and call me back.
I never heard from her again. I e-mailed her broker and lodged a complaint against my agent and the seller's agent for misrepresentation of property. The broker ignored my e-mail. I then sent a certified letter to the broker, lodging the same complaint against the two agents. The broker made no attempt to contact me in order to discuss my complaint. I retained the services of an attorney. My attorney sent a letter to my agent asking that we all sit down and discuss the issue. She and her broker ignored his request to meet and try to resolve the issue of misrepresentation. When it became clear the real estate broker and his agent were not going to communicate I filed a lawsuit. My agent claims she never pointed out or discussed the east property line. She is lying. I have a witness, she does not. The situation has caused me so much emotional distress that my chest tightens every time I'm inside the house. I've even had panic attacks while in the house. I spend very little time in what was to be my dream home. With my neighbor's property line running three feet up to the side of my house I know I have very little chance of finding a buyer. I am disappointed that my agent would not only misrepresent the property line, but then lie about never discussing the boundaries. I believed she was dealing honestly and fairly with me. I am also disappointed her broker would choose to ignore a customer's complaint. An innocent person would be eager to address a complaint before it became a much larger issue. A guilty person will remain silent. Each day I have the hope my agent will come forward and tell the truth about misrepresenting the property line.
I want her to step up to the plate, show some character and admit she lied. If you are thinking about purchasing a home I would recommend you carefully choose an agent. They are not all ethical.

We have used Benchmark for our last three projects and have ALWAYS been TOTALLY SATISFIED! We would not use anyone else!
This company is no good. I found this company lazy and did poor quality work.
This company of 1 should not be in business. Stay Away. Hire a pro to begin with. I suggest finding contractors on Angie's List.
It's also cheaper this way because there is no other person involved trying to pay himself. Esta empresa no es bueno.
These comments are beyond ridiculous. We have contracted with Mike at Benchmark for years and find his trustworthy and reliable service refreshing. This guy always delivers and takes the worry out of any renovation project! What a wonderful experience and end product he delivered!!!!
Michael has improved our home for almost two decades. He has painted interior and exteriors, remodeled three bathrooms, replaced flooring including tile, carpet and hardwoods and moved walls. Michael has such good taste that we ask him to select colors and fixtures for us.Additionally, we have thoroughly enjoyed the custom tile shower and closet built ins.
Michael is always dependable, responsive and honest. We consider him the best remodeler we have ever known and would not consider using anyone else.

We had a total opposite experience from Benchmark. Mike was extremely helpful and even gave my husband and I a line by line estimate so that we could pick and choose exactly what we wanted w/ our renovation.
His workers were extremely professional and Mike was always there to make sure the job was done right!
We were highly pleased w/ our bathroom renovation and we recommend Mike Sweeney all the time to our friends. He is the last guy/business owner that would rip you off!!!
Mike Sweeney brought in an unlicensed "electrician", who was also his friend, to do work. Illegal on both their parts.
Hire someone else and get it done right the first time! This is not someone you want in your house or around your children.
Interesting Comments! Sounds like one person posing as three to make a point.
I've worked with Mike (Benchmark) for over fifteen years on virtually every renovation on my house and know him to be honest, reliable and trustworthy on every occasion. *** Sounds like this commentator has issues of his/ her own.
Disaster and expensive. Should have done it myself. You would think "years" of experience would amount to something better??????
Homeowners beware before using this person.company. We to had work done and in the end it was just an expensive rip off by the owner who just subs everything and seems to lack the expertise to do anything himself which he never did.
I found you are much better off doing the work yourself. I used online Service Magic to give me a list of the best people to do the job in the end. Michael Sweeney, who is the owner, is nothing more that an add on to your cost in the end. No value add to the design of my project at all.
The "big reveal" as he says in his web site is the BILL! I don't think any of the designs displayed on his web site were ever any of his creations or work!
He just is not capable of it!!! Do it yourself and save the aggravation and money in having to deal with this clown.
Yeah - this was a rip off artist from the get go. Same stuff - did not show up uless he wanted his money.
Send in other to do the work and was never around to see what all others were doing on site.
Had to most of it over myself. Still goin on.
