I thought those days of Good Customer Service was long gone until we met Mr Anthony in your fragrance Department on yesterday( Huntsville, Alabama Parkway)

My 94 year old mother in law was visiting from Kentucky and wanted her favorite perfume. The problem was , she didn't remember the name of the perfume, however, that was no problem for Mr.

Anthony. He was patient, kind and, yes, loving towards her After smelling, inhaling, vaping Oh, my Lord! It seemed like after a while tasting different fragrances someone said Red Door. Praise God!

She said, Thats It!

He got the perfume for her, she opened a Belk account, and made her purchase He hugged her and made her feel so special Thank you Belk for hiring a sales associate like Mr Anthony

She also wanted me to inform you of the fact that he, we believe noticed the lack of genuine concern another representative was exhibiting and he came to offer assistance.

Mr Anthony Never Left her until the job was done. And her need met.

Again I am grateful

Incorrect statement, their error. hard to resolve.

On my Feb. Belk statement, it did not show that I had made a payment.

The payment due date was 2-25-2024. I had made that exact payment through my BOA and BOA shows that it WAS paid on 2-9-2024. I had tried to settle this online but my password was not accepted.(Just recently made the password and wrote it down.) So I tried to get a new password but the code was never sent to my email inbox. So I was on the phone today for at least 25 minutes with a customer service rep who was very hard to understand.

She stated that I had to mail a copy of my bank statement to Synchrony Bank in order to clear this account.

I doubt that other elderly Belk customers could not have found the bank account online and then printed it and then found stamp and envelope. I closed that Belk account today.

The store is a dump

Our Belk store in Somerset Ky is a disgrace. I think all the crap clothes that didnt sell at other stores are dumped here.

I laughed when you sent your spring book out because we never get cute things. They are for old and frumpy people. The shoe dept has no heels no cute sandals. If youre in your 80s thats where the shoes are for.

We have a lot of wealth in our community and you are making us go to other stores an hour and a half away such as macys and Dillards who have great things. Why cant you bring more fashionable styles to this store. This store does not have pretty displays and its run down. But some of your clothes are very expensive.

I dont mind paying the price but I want a store to look nice. Its a shame that this store is loaded with junk styles and old fashioned styles!!!

I decided to take the earrings back to the store, Pleasant Ridge Shopping Center, Little Rock, AR the jewelry manager refused to help me. I went to the manager of the store and he refused to help me. I paid $250 for them on sale and felt like they should have gotten me a new pair of the earrings, the class would not hold the earrings on my ear and I refused to shop at this belt store again

User's recommendation: I am very displeased with the customer service. They could have easily given me a new pair of 14 karat gold earrings, and then of no expense to them but they refuse to help me. I even called Belks arbitration and no one helped me.

My $100.00 gift card is froze due to the fact I entered the wrong pin number. I was told it would take 7 to 10 days before I could use it, if that is I apparently pass the review they told me it would go under. Holding someone's money is illegal. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau. My suggestion, DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS FROM BELK, lousy I can't say this enough. LOUSY customer service

Hello,
Your package arrived today. I'm so sorry to report that both 12" candlestick holders arrived broken, which I don't understand because they were very well packed in bubble wrap.

The delivery service must have played football with the box is the only reasoning for the breakage. I didn't even unwrap the bubble wrap and could already hear the rattle of breakage. I wanted to attach close ups of the breakage as seen through the bubble wrap, but couldnt find a way to attach here.
So now what do I do?

I really want/need those 12" pillars. Please advise how we can resolve this asap.

I was suspended from my job at Belk due to suspicious behavior

I need to come make a complaint, I was suspended as an employee because of a little suspicious behavior and honestly I didn't nothing I would never, and I would never do sketchy things. I need someone to call me as soon as possible as we are going to most likely get a lawyer involved since I was wrongly accused I kept getting questions like why did you take your shirt out of your bag even though I bought the shirt at Nordstroms not at Bell and for some reason they thought that was suspicious I just didnt know if I got the right size but the shirt that I was taking out of the bag was definitely not bought at Belk.

It was bought at Nordstroms and I have every single receipt to prove everything. I also tried on one earring to see if it was heavy left the tag right by the register, and was just making sure they werent heavy. I wasnt gonna wear them. I dont wear diamonds.

Customer was asking me about them. I was then questioned about why I was charging my phone.

I have to have my phone charged as my husband is in the ICU at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte North Carolina if you guys want to check on that as well , they suspended me for suspicious stuff and of course I will not go back to that job ever again threw me on the floor without even training me and accusing me of things I definitely did not do and never would do so that being said we will be getting a lawyer involved. I will never go back to work at Belk .

You know you aren't going to get an attorney and spends thousands and thousands over a cashier job at Belk. Besides, NC is an at will state and you can be let go for almost any reason.

Not only that, but it sounds like she was working when she went in her bag and tried the earrings on. She said something about a customer being there.

I can guarantee that Bell has a very strict policy of no personal items at your work station. I’m sure there are employee lockers for that.

Poor customer service.

I was in line to purchase Clinique products. There was a black lady in front of me and two black ladies behind her.

The two black ladies walked off then came back. When they walked off, I became second in line. When it was my turn to be helped, the cashier said the other two black ladies were ahead of me. I replied, no, they walked off then I stepped up.

The two ladies said it was fine that I could be helped next. The cashier then proceeded to tell me that everything I asked for was out of stock.

I left and spent my money at Ulta instead. If this is how white customers will be treated at Belks, I will make sure to find a white cashier to help me with my purchase or take my business elsewhere.

Bad management

Dont ever apply at Coastal Grand Mall Belk. The assistant manager makes up her own rules. Very rude to employees has even gone as far as telling a 20yr veteran of Belk to quit in front of customers.No lie. They tell you no information as far as vacation,pto etc. Have no clue to even find where there is a handbook.

Horrible experience at the southpark Store in Charlotte NC and over the phone

Sunday 11/19, visited Belk at the Southpark Mall. At the checkout, the sale associate was unable to lookup my account using my DL.

I tried several times. And she did not seems to care to help me. Tues, 11/21, I went online and really liked the UPC: 062279****697 black jacket and belt, I had $10 reward on the account and $10 birthday reward that was sent by mail and $12 of Belk GC. I called the 980-447-**** twice and escalated to speak with the supervisor Jackson.

Both times, he was not able to assist me. I spent over an hour trying to put my order to go through.

It was just so frustrating and upsetting that they did not care. I feel like if you continue this kind of service Belk may go out of business soon.

I ordered 8 pumpkin cocettes. The 4 green came perfect in a small box, wrapped individually in bubble wrap with additional bubblewrap in box.

The 4 white came in a masive box haphazardly thrown in with just some bubblewrap thrown in the box. I have been trying for the last 20 minutes to find an actual customer service phone number. Every time I call it, it says there's an error and hangs up. I tried a different phone number, and that just took me to the belk credit card rewards number.

Even they tried to transfer me to the main customer service phone number and it said the same thing..

This is for a fall craft for a girl's night quickly coming up. I can't find anyone to help me replace these items.

Update: Finally got someone on the line to speak with. They offered me a full refund.

It was quick and courteous. And although there were no more white pumpkin cocettes to replace them with, I was able to order a different color. Fingers crossed, they come intact.

If all goes well, I will definitely order from Belk again. Great prices and quick delivery..

My husband went to purchase a gift for me for Christmas at BELK jewelry counter in Monroe Commons mall in MC Being first in line was told by the jewelry associate that higher end purchases came first and was overlooked several times before he could be checked out!!

Even a customer acknowledged my husband was there before they were and my husband still was ignored by the jewelry associate! His purchase was not even Close to $1000 - but while waiting he watched as a bystander when a woman was waited on before him ifor a return of a $1500 purchase!!! SAD BUT TRUE IT HAPPENED THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE 2023!!!

They wouldn't let me exchange a pair of jeans that didn't fit

My mom came down so we did Christmas early she bought me some jeans . And I was going to wear them after she had already gone home to Kentucky. So I took them back to store to get a pair that fit and because I don't have the receipt or my mom's credit card . They won't let exchange them they told me I was stuck with a pair of jeans my mom paid 60 something dollars for and I can't wear them . Store needs alot of work

The store is to hot, its uncomfortable to shop. We are still having 70 degree days and they still have the heat on.

I feel bad for the Employees that have to work in that heat. Also the store is filthy. There is dust everywhere, Huge dust bunnies on the floor everywhere, dust on shelves, the carpet doesn't look like it's been vacuumed in months, and they don't mop in the departments. It looks like they just care about the main walkway.

The store also looks poorly staffed, you can never find anyone.

Macy's, jcpennys etc they have employees in every department. Not sure what is going on at this store.
