DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE!!
- - Aviva leak-detection claimed the main leak was fixed and no other issues.
- - A washer was moved during the visit; later it leaked and caused damage.
DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE!! Aviva sent these cowboys to carry out leak detection work after our house flooded.
The main leak was sorted but they were to confirm there was nothing else. During the visit their workman moved our 5 year installed washing machine witnessed by my mother and confirmed by the workman on the phone to the adjuster and my wife. He told them there was no issue and the area was bone dry. Job done?
The next time we ran the washing machine it leaked from the water pipe and flooded our utility.
The workman supported by Belfor behind him then alleged he hadn't moved the washing machine and refused to fix or compensate for the damage.
A bare faced lie to a customer to avoid fixing their mistake.
If they would do this to save £113 I would be wary about their trustworthiness for anything else. I wish I could rate them 0 stars.
