Gene Wescott was my sales guy.
Nice dude that had the Beldon Cheer down to a science. Needless to say, not a word from this guy since I signed the contract. I should have ordered siding from Lowes and picked up 2 fellas from the parking lot. So far this is the level of service I have received.
These folk at my house are contractors without credentials and I am convinced of it.
Here goes... 3weeks are gone by, WTH, I call, no answer, called Dallas, got a human man that said he will get a message to Houston. I send a concerning email, call came a few days later from a lady telling me when she can get a human out to take pics. Few days later he did his thing I guess.
Another 2 weeks go by, a call to schedule siding just on the back of home. Over a month of no communication from these folk.
I must admit, this is the most unprofessional situation I have endured in a while. You promised me that Beldon was a professional company.
Where do I start? Let's move from the lack of communication at the beginning.
This morning 1 guy shows up before material was delivered, with no tools, not even a ladder, guy #2 shows up and starts removing the old siding, guy #1 leaves to go get tools, then guy #2 complains he needs a ladder. I leave for work close to the 11 am hour, back home around 5:30 PM. My internet wire cut, my brand new AC unit is not working now, one of my soffits cut. Guy #1 trying to patch up the internet line.
Guy #3 came by got AC back going . Now have to wait 2 days for Comcast to rerun internet into my home.

Rip off
My grandmother is 90 yrs old and is going senile. She was talked into buying 1 window for $1694.00.
I contacted them and told them that she is on a fixed income and only gets $1282.00 a month and cannot afford this and needs the money back. I was told that the window was a special order and they have a signed contract so the best they will do is give her a $300.00 discount and when can they scedule the installation

We were billed for roof turbines and a sturdier patio roof and got neither. They are wanting us to pay extra for turbines and a better patio roof.
It took Beldon 4 months past their promise. They did the work in January and this is August, we still owe 2/3 of the bill and they will not make it right. What kind of service would we receive if all was paid for. We had Beldon do work for us on Alamo Plaza 20 years ago and all went just fine.
I guess all things are better in the past and at a better address. I really do not know what else what ever to put in these details to make your minimum of one hundred words

They do not give you what you pay for
I paid for four roof turbines and a more stable patio roof and got neither. Now they are going to take us to court to make us pay for items we did not get.
Just how do I know we really go everything we were due. Our home because of lack of great ventilation from our . four turbines . Anyway it has been awful hot this summer.
And our electric bill has been double, Also our neighbor who also lost her four great working turbines.
She had electric double. What more can I possibly say about a company who will not give one what they want him to pay for.
Promos
My wife & I had a Beldon rep come out to give us a quote on installing gutters. They were running a promotion @ the time & gave us a bottom line price of $6200 which included the current promo of 13% off installation.
We told the rep we'd think on it. Then, we saw a more current promo with 20% off. So, we called the company only to be told they couldn't honor the 20% off!!?? Huh??
Why?? We never agreed to anything when the rep came out so, why can't we get this more recent promo?? We got nowhere with the company so, we called our rep back & he said he could do the 20% but, he had to call us back which he NEVER did!! This is a HORRIBLE way to conduct a business.
These kind of tactics do little to gain new customers. On the contrary, this just drives folks like us away!! The sad thing is, we REALLY like their gutters & REALLY wanted their gutter system.
But, we just wanted the price THEY gave us using THEIR most current promo but, they just said too bad & hung up on me!! Terrible customer service & extremely poor business practices.

"special Promo pricing" yeah right!
I saw the add for 800 Gutters, lifeguard, looked great for all the leaves we get so I had them come out. 75% off installation and $200 Visa gift card promo was the ad I saw and referenced.
after a couple hours and an IPAD sales pitch the quote...$27,500 for gutters...yep, not a typo (~480 linear feet) AND an additional $7500 for anti-ponding metal applied under the tiles...#35,000 for gutters. So I ask, how long does this take, 2 days for the crew to complete it. How much is the labor on this *remember the 75% off promo* $2,100 discount for the special...what a joke. this is all labor, or at least half of it but the product is priced with labor built in so their great promo is a hoax.
A the pricing is ridiculous and B the special offer is so scam like I wouldn't have bought them at 25% the cost. save your time...and money.

Beldon Roofers San Antonio
I called Beldon Roofers in San Antonio to make an appointment for them to come out to my home to check for a leak. My home is 16 months old.
So them came out the next day were there for two hours and could not find a thing wrong. The peopel that serviced my home said I probably will not be charged for them to come out. Well four days later I got ahold of the builder who had the roofing people come out and they FOUND A LEAK and fixed it. I got a bill in the mail for 420.00.
I called and they said I was billled for time. So regardless they billed me for their time even though they did not fix the problem. I paid the bill.
This company was on Angies List of recommended people. Do not always believe what Angies List has to recommend either.

Update - I called the number and spoke with a very nice lady who was very sympathetic to my complaint. Bottom line I will get half a refund back and I am satisfied with the end result. Thank you for taking the time to listen....
