This is going to be a long review! My wife & I are retired for some time.
Bar None,, our favorite food is Mexican. Some of the places that we have experienced fantastic Mexican food was, Ensenada, Tijuana, Riviera Maya, Cancun, Playa Mujeres, Isla Mujeres & Cabo San Lucas to name a few. My wife & I went to try Belair Cantina at the Corners for the first time. Its a nice place, clean & nice bathrooms, staff was very nice.
But!! You get the Number One, 1st Place Numero Uno -
for the Worst Mexican Food ANYWHERE! Starting off, this was the first time we never got any chips & salsa when we sat down. We each had a Burrito.
I had the Carne Asada & my wife had the Birria. The Burritos were nice size. There wasnt much sauce on top of the Burrito ( or ) on the plate. The cheese on top of the Burrito was like wallpaper paste.
I have no idea what kind it was. Usually your Burrito should be smothered with a nice sauce. This had hardly any sauce on it at all. It was 80% just a dry tortilla.
We were not offered any salsas at all to have with our Burritos. Lets get to the ingredients,, EVERYTHING inside of this Burrito was DRY. I MEAN EVERYTHING! I could not even eat this without having a beer to wash it down.
The meat inside was very tough! Maybe that is why is was chopped up soooo fine. It looked almost like ground beef. I expected nice, moist ,shredded beef.
Some of the beef I had to spit out because I couldnt chew it. I NEVER HAD a Burrito so dry inside. Its like they were premade & just warmed up. To Top Off everything,,, the Habanero Sauces you have on all the tables are just Terrible.
Habanero Sauces in General have a sharp, bitter terrible taste. All 3 of these sauces were not good at all. Overall, they tasted bad. In my opinion, I would get rid of these sauces.
Most people dont care for Habanero. ALL OVER Mexico, I RARELY saw any Habanero sauces on the tables. Try the different kinds of El Yucatán Brand. Or the variety of Melindas sauces.
You should DEFINITELY have a Chipotle sauce on the tables. This was our first time at Belair Cantina & its OUR LAST! If I opened up this Burrito, I could just shake out all the dry ingredients. It was TERRIBLE!
As I mentioned before,, I a person had this without something to drink. You COULD NOT eat this.! It was that dry! And the icing on the cake,,,your drinks are WAY overpriced.
1 drink, 1 beer & 2 Burritos- $52 dollars! Are you kidding me?

When you asked to speak to the manager about the poor quality food, what did they say? While you were at it, did you request they start putting prices on their menus so there would be no surprises when the bill came?
