Verified Reviewer |Complaint - Discount Offers Not Honored
Over the past three weeks Bel Air Market on Grass Valley Highway in Auburn, CA has overcharged me by not honoring weekly ad prices and also not honoring customer loyalty coupons. Specifically, on July 25, 2022, the weekly ad offered Thomas' English Muffins and bagels for $2.99.
I ended up paying $5.99 for the bagels. Also, grapes were supposed to be $1.77 lb., but I was charged $9.81 for 2.81 lbs. Although I can't remember the overcharged amounts for last week (misplaced the receipt), this week I had four customer loyalty coupons that were entered by the cashier. Sadly, one of the coupons did not register the 50% off one dozen cage free eggs, so I ended up paying $4.98 instead of $2.49.
Lastly, I purchased Raley's basil in a plastic snap container that was marked in the produce section as on sale for $1.99, but I was charged $2.28. We have been loyal customers since we moved to Auburn from Southern California in 1999, and I am unhappy about this continuing debacle -- especially when the prices of food items have risen so outrageously high.

I purchased chicken at the hot foods counter, 2 thighs for
a total of $3.78. After I put the product in my cart, I noticed that
the sign read 8 pieces THIGHS OR LEGS FOR $8.99.
I asked the clerk if
I could exchange for the 8 pieces, she replied yes. When she started filling the
container, I said I wanted all thighs. She replied, you can only get 4 thighs and 4 wings.
She didn't understand when I showed her the sign that read OR. When don't Bel Air change the sign?

Service
I do not want to get the young man dismissed but thought it should go on record:
Operator #673601: rather inattentive and slightly rude.

Incompetant employees
I was at the Belair store on Foothills Blvd in Roseville, California. I wanted cash back when I checked out and was told that she did not have $40.00 dollars in her register.
She asked for some change from her boss, I assume. I waited at the register while she waited on two more customers, then she ask me what I was waiting for. I told her that I wanted my cash back and she told me that I already had it. I informed her that she was incorrect.
I finally received my money. She was rude and incompentant. I purchased some produce at that time. It was rotten the next day, so I threw it away.
Someone needs to check the produce and toss the old stuff away. I will not be going back to that store. Also your emplorees need to not talk gossip in front of customers.
I found out that they did not like the manager and some of the employees had found different jobs because of him. You need to bring back some of the old timers that know how to wait on customers.
Bel Air Market Customer Care Review
I was just at the Bel Air locared on Elk Grove-Florin. The clerk named Gerry did not say one work while scanning my items.
He carried on a conversation with another employee reguarding an unbalanced register.
This wouldn't bother me much except I had to wait for him give me my receipt. There's no need to contact me since it will be a while before i return to the store.

Entitled, clearing your throat????and your not the RUDE one? I probably wouldn't make eye contact with you either, you reek of II have just taken my I am SO SPECIAL PILL, sorry honey, if you have shopped somewhere for a long time and you have a connection with ALL the clerks their friendliness is what BRINGS ME BACK TO THEIR STORE!!!
If entitled has to wait a minute more too darned bad, they probably wouldn't come back anyways cause no one kissed her ***. I am a loyal customer who spends a lot of money at your store week in and week out. Strive to keep me and not entitled, cause trust me you will never, never make her happy......and another thought 99.9% of your customers love you and think your the best......and THAT ONE *** comes in, who no one could make happy and they make a complaint.....
You all throw the clerk under the bus and take the complainers word as gospe.
Very displeased with service from a cashier
Went to your Bel Air Store #516 September 5th @ 911am and cashier #501164, Janet.
She decided to go at the end of her counter and talk with the previous customer, I cleared my throat, ( I had flim I needed out, LITERALLY )., she came back to her register looked at me and BELITTLED me saying she did NOT appreciate me clearing my throat that it was rude and she has the right to talk to her customers.
She continued my order without looking at me finished I paid and before she gave me my receipt started the next order then gave me my receipt, saying have a nice day, ( once again without looking at me ).
When I left I thought about the ordeal and was actually FURIOUS!
What gave her the right to belittle me in front of the other customers all because I cleared my throat.
I will NOT be going there for awhile now!
Thank You for making my day! :(
