Wow! This was an experience. My neighbor was having his fence done and a portion splits our two properties. He asked if I wanted to join in and I did. Fence was built and I noticed one of my latches not working properly. I brought this up during my site review with "Patrick". He yelled and admonished me that these were not self-close latches. I've been around a lot of fences and never seen one work this poorly, especially at install. My neighbor also found issues with their quality of work and wood (poor). He had them come fix that. My latch was even worse, the fence wouldn't close. I, the novice, looked at my latch and realized they didn't install the bracket correctly. In attached pic you can see how far they had to move it to make it work. They did come address that, as you can see. Now the fun part. Even after this, I had left off a 5-foot section behind shrubbery and decided I should've done it. I called them and they had "Patrick" come out. He said nothing about a small job. I had already spent over 4k with them. Trying to get a deal, I mentioned how he yelled at me over the latch. He once again mocked me. In a funny voice saying, "the customer is always right... duh". So, I never heard from them. I called for over a week to follow up. Never hearing from "Patrick". Finally, today after pressing them, they tell me my job is too small even though I already spent 4k with them. Patrick is a spoiled baby. It's obvious he's inherited this company generationally. No way could someone with this poor of people skills ever have built a successful company. He's literally refusing to help a customer that spent 4k with them because he's petty that I was correct about my latch. Pic attached of the latch. Also attached the 5-to-6-foot portion I was hoping they'd help a previous customer with. Stay away unless Patrick is booted from the family business. Despicable person.

This company is far from professional. A professional company adheres to certain standards, principles and ethics. This company has either. They violate the meaning of these words. They were hired to install a fence more like a construction wall for the neighbor from *** Yes, like you see on TV. No other company that has pride, dignity and professionalism would ever touch this FUBR project. This section of wall is installed outside our living room window and pathed together with old decrepitated rotten wood panels from his old shed (see pictures) they dismantled for this "special project" of theirs. In doing so, they desecrated our home and neighborhood. By agreeing to this "special project" they demonstrated a lack of pride, dignity, and integrity. This company is all about the all mighty dollar. The proverbial "show me the money" and we will do anything. To make matters worse, they promote them selfies as "family owned" and operated How would their family like it if a company built this despicable wall in front of their home. It proves that what you see is not always what you get. There are a lot more deserving companies to choose from than these phonies. Please review the pictures. You have to see it to believe it. meal

PLEASE BE WARE OF THIS BUILDER. Words cannot express how displeased we are with the process to build our newly installed deck. The deck two weeks as opposed to three to four days to build as agreed to. Throughout the entire process, there was never any communication with us in advanced that the materials would not arrive at our property in time to build the deck. Even when they began the work, there were intermittent times when work had to stop because the required materials had not yet arrived. The installers were messy leaving dirt and trash scattered throughout the yard and materials left on the grass; thereby killing the grass in the areas where the materials were left. We have lots of complaints about this builder, but have to say that the deck turned out beautifully.

Called for Service for a Fence They Installed - Ignored and Lied To!

Never use this company. Very similar to other review. I had a fence installed by BEITZEL Fence some years ago. A couple of the posts were sagging so I called them to get a quote on fixxing the sagging fence posts. After leaving numerous messages for them, they Kept not returning my calls. Even after speaking to them, once they found out I didn't want a new fence, they kept saying they would call me back but didn't. Finally got them to make an appointment for someone to come out and they didn't show up. Follow-up calls were ignored. Worst customer service I ever experienced. I have also never submitted an online review but felt compelled to warn people about this company. STAY AWAY FROM BEITZELL FENCE. They seem to literally hate their customers.

Beitzell Fence

I spent thousands of dollars with this company a few years ago. I have a problem with a gate and call the company to have it fixed. It took me 7 calls just to get somebody to call me back. After I finally got one of the owners on the phone (Karen Beitzell) she finally said she would send someone out to look at the problem. Four weeks later after 4 more calls I get her on the phone and she tells me that it's going to be $350.00 to fix a broken hinge! I was appalled and let her know it. When I pressed her for how much the hinge set cost she said she would find out and get back to me. Two weeks and 4 calls later I finally get her on the phone again and she says $39.00. I just chuckled and said fine just send it and I'll fix it myself. That was a month ago. Still no set, I told her to send it COD. I've tried numerous times to contact the comapany and all I get is the run around. I still have a broken gate for over 3 months now with no relief in sight . I am suing the company. I've never been treated with poorer cutomer service and I've been a home owner for over 20 years. I've never posted something like this before and my motivation is to warn people to stay awy from this company they are a disaster. I could only imagine how they would respond to a REAL BIG problem

Karen Beitzell does not care about you or any of their customers. She is rude on the phone and she sets up bogus appointments. Don't waste your time with this company!


Had a fence installed. All reviews of Karen and the lack of customer service are still true to this day.

I remain anonymous bc I am still awaiting the completion of a fence job. It's sad that people are treated this way. I have missed multiple work days expecting the installation; no call, no show. Installation came weeks past the install date and they only way I found anything out was consistently calling Beitzell.

I always dealt with Karen and she promises call backs, install dates, etc always to let me, the consumer down.

Can't imagine how they remain in business with this service.



What a horrible company to do business with! How they stay in business with such shady ownership is beyond me.

It took them forever to begin work on my fence, but they were certainly quick to cash my deposited check.. go figure. Then they did not complete the job.. I have no latch on my gate.

It's just swings open. Maybe I'm a sucker, I gave them the other half of the payment since they told me they would special order the latch and return to install it. Did they? No.

I guess I screwed myself for putting trust in a local company. I'll go out and spend more money to buy and install the latch myself, because I can. But I will go onto every review site and bash Beitzell, because they are in fact awful. STAY AWAY.

The owners can't face their frustrated customers, so they dodge them with a gatekeeper when you call. TERRIBLE.


WARNING! Stay away from this company. Not

Took six months to put up a small fence and over 25 calls to do adjustments that still was not done by them. Had someone else to fix

lock. What a experience this was..



We had a horrible problem with them when our fence was built - shoddy detail work took a ton of calls but was fixed. Now 4 1/2 year later and an entire half of our fence fell tonight - shoddy work posts were fully rotted and not put in deep enough. I can only imagine how this will go --- I plan on not letting this go till they remedy the situation.


My god, it costs $400 to replace the whole *** gate from most places. Thanks for the warning.

By the way Eric he paid for the *** fence for the thing not to *** up within months of having it installed. That's why he throw down so much money so he would not have to deal with it himself.


its a freaking hinge - go to the store and get one and fix the *** thing and quit crying
