Got screwed
- - 2017 Ford Fusion bought new as a demo with 2,400 miles.
- - Warranty at 60k; now 74k; $8k to repair; Ford offers no relief.
2017 ford fusion purchased new in 2017was"demo car" only 2400 miles. Car has been fine up until a month ago started feel hesitant at low speed.
Took in dealership run diagnosis said shutter during torque converter lock up no codes found... So then he wants to tell me that the powertrain warranty expired at 60,000 miles and sorry yours has 74,000 so its gonna be $8,000!!!!!! To repair... I dont have that kinda money laying around!
Will not do anything to help rectify situation.
Contacted ford and was told no programs to help nothing they will do just keep paying on a broken vehicle or have a repossession if send it back?? Never in my life will i own another ford vehicle this was the worse experience in our life with a car and dealership!!!!!

Sold me a car they knew had major problems.
- - Bought a used Ford Taurus from Beau Townsend Ford in Vandalia; car had transmission and gasket issues, rate was 7% not 5.9%, with poor service.
I purchased a used Ford Taurus from Beau Townsend Ford in Vandalia Ohio, paying thousands more than it was worth, but I needed a car. Was sold a car with a bad transmission and a bad oil gasket.
Everytime I took the car back, I was treated as if I was an hysterical female who didn't know what she was talking about. Now that the car is off warranty, guess what? They've found I have a bad gasket and transmission, imagine that!
Also, I was told I had a interest rate of 5.9,turns out it was 7%. Stay away from that dealership if you are a single female.
I'm stuck with a car I can't afford to fix.
