Bear Tracks Vacation Cabins - VACATION RUINED
We planned our FAMILY CHRISTMAS vacation here is it was a complete disaster. It was 5 degrees outside and we arrived to a cabin with NO HEAT, NO WATER. We proceeded to contact the "EMERGENCY" Numbers given to us by the owners before arrival. Got NO ANSWERS NO REPLIES FOR 12 HOURS. We were freezing and pulled 2 mattresses to the pool room to sleep on to keep from freezing to death over night , the pool room was the only room of the house with heat. The owners said that we shouldn't have taken the mattresses to the pool room to sleep on and stay warm, April the owner said that our family should have rented hotel rooms or slept in our cars after we had paid her $4000 up front for this cabin! By morning we had no power either. It was Christmas Eve and we decided that we needed to drive 6 hours back home to try to at least save some of Christmas eve. The owners of this cabin were very very RUDE every single conversation I had with them. They also robbed us for $2000 of the $4000 that we paid them. Do not take a chance on your vacation being ruined. The office Clerk and CO Owner of Bear Tracks Vacation Cabins Amanda stated to us on 2 occasions that they did NOT have maintenance personnel. In the end our DREAM First time ever Vacation was ruined and to make matters even worse. They robbed us of $2000 or our $4000 that took us 2 years to save for this Vacation of our lifetime. BEWARE Don't take a chance on your vacation being ruined and maybe being robbed of your money as we were. User's recommendation: DON'T TAKE A CHANCE ON LETTING THESE PEOPLE AND POOR MAINTENECED CABINS RUIN YOUR VACATION
