Who is there to help enforce the rules if your own barter exchange/company (NATE, BBE, NET, etc) will not help enforce them. What is the point of even having "Trading Policies & Procedures" if everyone can make up their own rules? What happens when a place like BBE fails from a customer relations stand point? After BBE failed to facilitate a deal, because a surgeon tried to unethically up his price 20%, I acting within my legal rights outside of representation of my wife's company posted my problems with this doctor's business ethics on a website that a person can post info about experiences, business encounters or feelings they have towards them, similar to websites like RIP-OFF REPORT and PISSED CONSUMER. This is a completely legal website and there are many of them that exist in which reviews on service or lack thereof have occurred. This is clearly freedom of speech, and just because someone doesn't like what is posted doesn't mean it has to be erased, Ed Maginnis. This doctor did not like this being published and made a big stink about it. So, the bottom line is that my wife's barter company (BBE of Cary/Raleigh) did not stand up for us when we were treated wrongly and rules were broken, but now that that doctor felt he has been treated wrongly his barter company has stood up for him and my wife's company is made out to be the bad guy, and only now they want to enforce rules on her. When BBE found out about me exercising his constitution right to freedom of speech, they asked me to stop and take the posting down which I AGAIN asked Maurya Lane and Elizabeth Powell at BBE to get the other barter exchange to enforce the trading policies. BBE refused again to do mediate or do anything, and I refused to remove the posting. Just like I am REFUSING to remove this posting. If you can't trust the people who you have a legal binding contract with, do you really want to become a member of BBE?
