Sorry, forgot to add this to original posting: Safety is lacking, they do a very poor job of checking patients for sharp objects that they can harm their selves with and the furniture in the rooms is hard wood with hard dangerous corners. They do a very slack job checking visitors for sharp items as well. Personal experience and talkig to others, they are big on sedating patients and keeping them calm and "happy" in their own minds rather than actually talking to them and working on their issues.

I am very tempted to list the Dr.s names It's a shame they practice in this particular field of medicine and treat people like they do!

Horrible place to deal with. They do not believe family members can offer any insight to patients issues or offer any comfort or help.

The nurses and techs are great. The on call doctors are in-professional, RUDE and make it obvious that they do not care for their patients well being. All they are (as long as insured) to the doctors is an income source. The facilities are dingy, dirty and disgusting.

The furniture in the visiting room is beyond disgusting. The stick on tile floors are coming up in places and looked like they have not been mopped in years. The phone system has been on the fritz for a week (maybe more) There are much more professional, CLEAN places in the area. Depressed and emotionally unstable delicate patients need to be made to feel card for.

There family should not be lied to by attending doctors just to win you over. I will never allow anyone I care for to attend any of Bayfront Health's facilities. EVER. We have good choices in Charlotte County and fortunately do not have to deal with their locations or the doctors in their system.

I desperately wish I had checked online reviews of Riverside and the 2 doctors we were dealing with before driving my wife there. YES, would have sought help for her.

But would NOT have been there!! If you care for your family or friends, try your best to take them to a better quality facility with professional doctors who care about their patients.
