Masquerading as a Resort!
When we arrived, the room was dirty. We complained, and they sent someone to clean the carpet, which improved the appearance (it still looked pretty dirty to me), but then the carpet was wet for a day.
The bathroom was not very clean, and the Pack 'n Play they provided for our one year old to sleep in did not have a mattress. I spoke to the owner about our issues. He told me that the carpet in the room was over nine years old, and that no one had ever complained about a lack of mattress for the Pack 'n Play before. We were so miserable that we booked a different hotel, even though Bay Pointe insisted on charging us for all the nights we had booked.
When I spoke to them, their end of the conversation revolved around their bottom line, and they seemed unconcerned with making any accomodations to makes us happy (like moving us to a new room or only charging us for the two nights we stayed there).
The complimentary breakfast was decent, but I found it odd that I could get an omelette, but not an egg-white omelette. Stay away from this place if you want a relaxing, clean trip!
