Resolution in Progress
On July 2016 I wrote a review here about Bay Home & Window & updated it in August 2016, as it stands now we are in the process of resolving this matter to both parties satisfaction and have requested from Pissedconsumer to remove the original & updated posts.

Customer experience was HORRIBLE
Our experience was horrible. We waited 3 months for one curtain for a bedroom window. On the specified delivery date, which Bay Home & Window had set itself, no curtains arrived. We gave Bay Home & Window 2 more days. Then, frustrated that no curtain had arrived and not so much as a call or apology email, we called the company. We spoke to the President Jeff Falcon and he told us that the company was experiencing a high volume of orders so they were having a hard time delivering the products on time. We asked for some sort of compensation, but he didn't give so much as an apology. He just said the company was just too busy to deliver many of its products on time. He said the curtains would be delivered in another 3 weeks. They weren't. 3 and a half weeks later we had to call again to ask for an update. At this point, we just wanted the curtain and wanted to be done with this company forever. We finally got the curtains delivered a few weeks later. At least the quality of the curtains matched what we expected. Thats what got this company 1 star. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. Their punctuality is PATHETIC. Told all my friends and relatives to never order from this business. I strongly recommend the same to everyone else if you want your curtains delivered anywhere near on time. Highly disappointed in Bay Home & Window.

Bay Home and windows ripped me off
Beware of this company. The estimator they sent to my home was inexperienced, sneaky and actually lied to me about material selections, the competition and what I was going to receive. I recently had a built in entertainment cabinet made for my home theater system. I called Bay area Windows about pricing and they said it really depends on the quantity of drawers, doors and material selection so they would have to send an estimator out to quote it. The estimator arrived and before she even set down her brief case she said "A cabinet this size will be six thousand dollars". I thought that was pretty rude considering we hadn't discussed drawers, doors or anything at this point. Of course when the estimate was complete and all my so-called discounts were applied it was amazing....the price was six thousand dollars. Part of the cost was a thousand dollar difference between the colors black and white, of course the black was more expensive. When I asked why more for black is it harder to make? She said "no it's more popular than white". One call to their competitors about color removed $1,000 from her quote because the competitor doesn't charge extra for black. The most frustrating part was once I placed the order (less the color and glass) the service and smiles all went away. The estimator would not bring us samples of materials as promised. After talking to her boss she finally snuck onto our porch and just left them without even ringing the bell. My wife is home all day and it took several emails and about three trips to get them all. Oh and she never picked them up to this day. When approving the final design I couldn't believe they had my front speak tweeter height wrong and when I questioned it they did not have a clue what the standard listening height was for tweeters. Its ear height when you're sitting and remember "entertainment cabinets" is their specialty.....They couldn't even get the gaps around the TV screen equal. After the cabinet was installed my receiver was overheating. The installer didn't have any recommendations to cool it. The designer recommended cutting the hole in the back of the cabinet larger - it was already 2 feet by 4 feet the maximum it could be. All I got was "sorry we don't know what to tell you, we have never had this problem. Remember "entertainment cabinets" is their specialty..... Thank God for Fry's electronics. They have a simple fan tray that sits on your receiver for 49 dollars and it runs cool as ever. You would think BA Windows would know that - remember "entertainment cabinets" is their specialty..... I was promised drawers with faces and nickel plated pulls, even shown samples by the estimator at the Concord home and garden show. When the drawers were actually installed they had no faces or pulls and you could see the raw edge of the fiber board sides (brown on black) and the ugly drawer runners were sticking out past the face. This look was very tacky. When I complained to the installer he painted the brown edges with a magic marker - more tackiness. Now I have a cabinet that looks great until you open the doors (we have to open the doors to watch a movie because the big front speakers are behind the doors) first thing you see is the tacky drawers with bright zinc runners and no pulls. The look is very cheap and very embarrassing. The designers claim the drawers would be a minimum of 350.00 to fix but offered to sell me black colored drawer runners for 50 bucks plus the installation fee of $115. When I complained about paying for runners..... You guessed it "THEY SNUCK THEM ON TO MY PORCH". I talked to the installer and he claims the drawers can't be fixed without a complete redesign by moving the partitions and changing the door hinges. Just imagine a beautiful black cabinet with gorgeous nickel hardware and cheap zinc draw runners that are not hidden with magic marker painted faces and no pulls. Not to mention the CD drawers do not come with an insert to hold CD's. It's like buying an expensive car with cheap tires on it. Sincerely - Very Disappointed

I am the president of the company reviewed, and felt obligated to respond here.
.
Our company was made aware of Bruce’s issues soon after he posted to several websites over a year ago. As is our custom, we contacted Bruce immediately and worked very closely with him in resolving his issues to his complete satisfaction. Bruce removed his submissions or replaced them with very positive reviews on all of the other (mainstream) review sites. But, when it came time to do so on PissedConsumer, Bruce was told that he could not remove, or even alter, his own review. It seems that PissedConsumer has a very curious policy stating “PissedConsumer does not offer users the opportunity to edit or remove prior postings†(see PissedConsumer’s FAQ).
.
We inquired about this policy, only to be told of a very expensive ‘reputation management’ service available. Perhaps this is why there are over two hundred complaints for PissedConsumer listed on their own website, many of which cite this obvious conflict of interest. Many more complaints can be found online, as can several instances of litigation involving PissedConsumer. Our company maintains stellar ratings on all mainstream online consumer review sites, and we have been awarded the highest obtainable BBB rating of A+. Hopefully, those many consumer ratings will offer a more enlightened perspective.
.
I do wish to thank Bruce for his efforts to modify this review.
Not my experience at all with Bay Home & Window. They did my home office and shutters and were amazing to work with.
Love the service, love the product.
5 stars in my book. Thanks Donn and Carrie for your excellent advice.
Don't know what happened to you but I got shutters and a closet from these guys and freakin love them. They were priced fairly (not the cheepest but the quality was stellar) and the service was exceptional.
The installer was clean and fast and really seemed to care that we were happy. four stars from us.
