DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH!!!!

I too had a horrible experience with Bay Brreze. I took my Toyota highlander to wash it in Bay preeze car wash in US 19 tampa Fl .. I didn't believe what's happening.

I had several scratches on the top of my car from the things that rub against the car inside the wash.

The Manager know what happened. He was VERY rude and insisted that their perfect machines wouldn't ever manage to do damage to a vehicle.

We didn't so much as get an apology. This guys do dirty business and wont even stand up when they know something was their fault. Accidents happen, even to the best of them. The difference is, the best of them actually own up and make good to keep their names in the community. Sad

Conveyor caused my car to run into another

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My 2017 Mercedes Sports car sustained $1800.00 in damage while on the conveyor when it ran into the vehicle in front of me while it was stuck in the system. The conveyor did not stop.

Bay Breeze refused to pay for my repairs.

My insurance company is going to legally subrogate because they won’t accept their legal responsibility. This could be you.

Bay Breeze Dale Mabry location damaged my truck

My husband got is vehicle cleaned at the Dale Mabry location last weekend and the machines put a long scuff/gash on his vehicle, the manager Nico Rodriguez was not cooperative at all and stated "the scuff on the vehicle is white and his brushes are rubber and red and black and if his machine would have done that scuff it would be black and red". So when we asked for the camera footage they refused to provide the footage.

He filled out an incident report only on my husband's request and nothing has come from it. Seems this carwash has a long history of damaging vehicles and not taking responsibility for it.

Damaged my car/ Terrible Customer Service

I've been having my Mercedes Benz washed at the Bay Breeze in Brandon every week since I've owned it, when this week, they were extremely busy, one of there workers failed to remove a water bottle from under my power set before adjusting it. They jammed the bottle in my seat, breaking the seat.

They never told me, only left the seat forward when I got in my car. When my boyfriend tried to adjust it, he discovered the damage. We immediately went back to the carwash only to be ignored, then confronted by ADAM, the acting GM for the day, with a confrontational attitude. He disputed that any damage was done by them- even after I showed him the obvious evidence of the smashed bottle that my boyfriend dislodged from the seat.

He began citing a policy that they aren't responsible for power seats, then told me that if my "theory" were correct, the seat was probably just off track, as Benz' often become. After asking him to allow me to speak, he became rude, curt, condescending, and took a tone with me that was totally disrespectful as a customer service agent. He was even dismissive to a supervisor in training who attempted to help us by telling him "to just walk away"! after explaining to him that the responsibility of the seats has nothing to do with the negligence of the worker, he became argumentative and insulting, telling me that I had to listen to him.

He made every attempt to agitate me with insulting, rude comments, as I was trying to explain the situation, that he was not a witness to, then when he spoke, and I looked away, he said "Did I loose your attention or something?"!!!! I was done at that point!!! I will never do business with them again, and I strongly warn everyone else not to either. Not unless you want to risk this type of damage with no resolution, empathy, or drop of customer care or service!!!

They will damage your vehicle and then antagonize you to absolve themselves of any responsibility to make it right! THIS WAS THE WORSE CONSUMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!

I had my new car damaged at this car wash!

I brought my new car in to be washed for the first time at Baybreeze Car Wash & Lube in Lutz, Florida. While I was sitting in the car during washing, a brush flipped my sideview mirrors forward and then the next brush flipped my sideview mirrors forward.

The driver's side mirror popped out and fell into the belts in the car wash. I immediately told the man (Cornell) who was running the car wash, who proceeded to look for the mirror. They couldn't turn off the car wash to find it. My car was also scuffed on the mirror and side corner panel from the car wash brushes.

Cornell implied that I had bought a poorly made car if things were falling off of it in the car wash. He filed an incident report. My husband has been a car body man for 35 years which has included restoring and painting cars that have been featured in major car magazines. My husband looked at the car that evening and was able to get the scuff marks off.

I returned to the car wash the next day to speak to the manager, Howard Hogan, so I could retrieve my mirror. He proceeded to tell me that I must have hit a pole and that there was no way his car wash could have made the scuff marks on my car. I was trying to tell him that my husband got the scuff marks out so he wouldn't have to fix any scratches. He continually went back and forth with me about how his car wash could have never done it, even though I sat in my car and watched as my mirror was being damaged!!!!

The most he could offer me was that he would look for my mirror. I drove out with the impression that even if he found my mirror he would probably throw it away. There was no way this guy was even going to acknowledge any sort of damage to my car. I would have been happy if the manager apologized and offered me a free car wash and sincerely promised to look for my mirror.

I would have even considered coming back if he was apologetic.

Instead, he insisted that I caused the damage to my car. This is a cheap car wash with extremely poor customer service!!

Bay Breeze Car Wash & Lube Did not fulfill their JOB!

I was there this morning to get my car washed, and have been a customer in the past. They are pricier compared to other places, but you are "suppose" to get what you pay for.

I had asked a young man named Jason to clean the interior of my drivers side door, when I was given a rude reply back, and informed they don't do that! He wouldn't even budge! The car wash had done a horrible job on my car, and then to be told he wouldn't even wipe my door down, and gave me the rag to do it myself! I was so mad I couldn't see straight, so I went to the manager, who was just as bad!

Now I can see why this place is like it is, BAD MANAGEMENT! He told me they never had included that in the car washes, and wouldn't even satisfy my request. The fact is, it always had been done in the past! And I wasn't apologized to or nothing, yet he had the nerve to invite me back!!!

Why would I want to go back? What is he offering me to come back with? I have never been treated as such! The sad thing is they weren't even busy, and should go out of their way for customer service, even if they no longer offer it!

I could of been simply told, we'll do it this time, and I apologize for Jason's attitude, but no not a THING WAS DONE! They will not be seeing me or my daughter there ever again!

I will be sure to spread the word as well!

I have been using the Lutz location for my washes since they opened and have had no issues. When you pull up to the automated pay heads it clearly states that if you drive an older car or a car with a lot of miles and something breaks they are not responsible.

I have seen cars with pieces hanging off go through the wash and then blame the car wash for breaking them off. IF your vehicle is in questionable condition then you would be better off hand washing it. This car wash has never done interior cleaning or detailing. It is the same as going through the wash at a gas station.

You can not complain because the men working at the wash don't wipe off the inside of your door. They are not allowed to touch the cars much less clean the inside for you.

If you want the interior washed then go spend $50-500 to have your car hand detailed instead of paying less than $10 to get the outside machine washed. You get what you pay for.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH!!!! Went through the car wash, came out with chips all over my windshield...and lo and behold there is someone waiting outside offering to fix the chips in my windshield.

What a scam!!!! Manager was incredibly rude, and actually insulted my character.

I just moved to the area recently from New York. I'll admit that I was a bit freaked out by the previous two posts, but quite frankly I didn't want to drive to find a competitor.

I tried Bay Breeze out and I'm certain that it's the nicest and most well run carwash I've ever been in in my life. I've been there a total of 8-10 times and I'm sold.

I too had a horrible experience with Bay Brreze. I took my husbands truck there while he was in Iraq to have it completely detailed as a surprise for when he came home.

No issues. Then once he was home, we took my car in. If you'll believe our luck, two things happened in ONE day. I had several scratches on the rear passenger side car at the top from the things that rub against the car inside the wash.

And we also have a nice scratch on the inside of the window on the tint where they drug a dirty towel across it. Granted, you have to expect that these things can and will happen. We didn't even get out of the parking lot when we came back to let the owner, Scott know what happened. He was VERY rude and insisted that their perfect machines wouldn't ever manage to do damage to a vehicle.

They use the finest quality. Yada, Yada, Yada. He then pointed out a few smaller scratches that we knew about on our trunk and asked if we were going to accuse them of those too. What a *** he was.

We didn't so much as get an apology. This guys do dirty business and wont even stand up when they know something was their fault. Accidents happen, even to the best of them. The difference is, the best of them actually own up and make good to keep their names in the community.

Buyer BEWARE! :(

Looks like happy customer is an employee who is trying to bolster business..... Not cool. We should not be paying"extra" for something that should be included, like courtesy and going the extra mile to keep business, instead of trying to rob your "business" aka customers for "extra" services.

I had an oil change done at the Wesley Chapel location and within days had a noise coming from my engine. After taking it to the dealership they determined Baybreeze put 2 quarts too many in my engine and also put a bad oil filter in which was making the noise.

I then went and spoke with the OWNER who stated he could not do anything for me, except offer a cheap car wash, b/c I had taken the car to a REAL mechanic and not back to them after I noticed the noise.

WHO takes there car to lube jockey when you have an engine noise??? This place is a danger for anything other than a car wash!!!!!!!

Guest

The first time I used them, they did a complete detail on my truck for a reasonable price. The service and quality they provided was great.

I will be taking my other vehicles in on a regular basis.

They are very clear in what services they offer for a given price.

It sounds like this customer was trying to get extras for free, and is now mad because the business said no. Maybe if you want those services, then you can do like the rest of us and spend the extra couple of dollars they cost.
