My employer referred us to this BCU Credit Union that we now have a contract with. They have a $400.00 bonus with a new checking account..

My daughter and I got a joint checking account. BCU requires us to have 3 months of at least $500 deposits from direct deposit. I did what was required---I had my payroll do 5 deposits the past 3 months that totalled at least $500 a month. The online BCU app showed that requirements were met for Jan, Feb and March.

I sent another message asking when we get the bonus.
Now BCU tells me that we havent met the requirements.
They only give me credit for 2 of the 5 payroll deposits, that way we lose the ability to get our bonus.
I have sent about 100 messages and called them over a dozen times ,asking how and when we can get our $400 bonus. No one explains why they won't count my deposits toward this account. They won't help me, now they refuse to give us the $400.00 bonus.
I've talked to at least 3 supervisors amongst other reps, no one would fixed.

I called them all hours of the day--7am, noon, midnight sometimes, this provides me so much tremendous stress trying to get this figured out. Terrible customer service--they will not help you, no matter how many messages or calls you make.

You may want to check the monthly start/close dates the bank uses for your account.
