Poor customer service
- - Warranty claim for a defective BT denied without a receipt.

Submitted to warranty part of the company my defective BT and that out of the 4 I have this was the first one that went bad and there response was without a receipt they went to production date and said you are out of luck. Just wanted you to know that as an Electrical Contractor I have bought and used your product for many years!!
That stopped today and I will inform my fellow Contractors to do the same.
Did not expect you to not stand behind your product!! Oh well.

- - No receipt; they used production date and said you are out of luck.
Submitted to warranty part of the company my defective BT, and that out of the 4 I have, this was the first one that went bad. Their response was that without a receipt, they went to the production date and said, 'You are out of luck.' Just wanted you to know that as an electrical contractor, I have bought and used your product for many years!
That stopped today, and I will inform my fellow contractors to do the same. Did not expect you to not stand behind your product!
Oh well.

- - New Battery Tender stays red for over 20 minutes on a 12.74volts Odyssey battery.
- - Old Tender works green; new stays red on Hyundai (12.53 volts).
I have had a Battery Tender for many years and it has always worked great. I recently acquired another vintage car that is not driven much so wanted another Battery Tender for that car.
I received it yesterday and connected it to the BRAND NEW ODYSSEY 12 VOLT BATTERY that had a full charge of 12.74volts. The red light come on and stayed on. It stayed on for over 20 minutes. I then took the Battery Tender I use on the other car, connected IT to the battery and it flashed green for a couple of minutes then turned solid green.
I tried the NEW Battery Tender on the car I had the other Tender on and it again remained red. I then tried the new Tender on my 2023 Hyundai car with a fully charged battery (12.53 volts) and again the light remained red. I hooked up my old Tender to the Hyundai and it flashed green for a couple of minutes then turned solid green. It would appear that the NEW Tender is defective.
I researched and found MANY people have had the same issue. What is going on with the new Battery Tenders?
