stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Took my phone and told them it was not charging I thought it might be the battery but wasn't sure he tried to get it to charge and it wouldn't charge for him either they put a new battery in it called me told me it was ready I picked it up .Itook a home and it wouldn't charge and they charge me $75 for nothing and gave me a broken phone back that they put back in the case to hide it. They broke the back glass. I contacted the manager his name is Pat he said that I told him to just put a battery in it so that's what he did I asked him why would you just put a battery in it when you know it was not charging he does not want a refund my money or fix my phone. Monroeville Pa. Store. Took my phone back on Sunday he was not there he still has my phone now.

I typed in batteriesplusrebates.com and it sent me all over the place. I clicked on several places and just keep getting the run around. If you are serious about offering a rebate then you ought to provide a way to get it.

Get your batteries somewhere else!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The original battery in my IPad lasted four years. Replaced it at Batteries Plus in February 2019.

It required five hours to charge the new battery rather than two and one half required for the original. Six months later, in September 2019, that battery stopped working. I contacted the same Batteries Plus and they agreed to replace it under warranty. (Has to be replaced by someone trained...not by customer.) This one also required twice the normal time to charge!

They said “that’s just the way it is.” Fast forward six months and the second battery has stopped working! Exactly six months usage. Batteries Plus will do nothing!

These are expensive batteries! If the original battery lasted four years, six months is not acceptable for a replacement, I will never buy anything from Batteries Plus again!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM BATTERIES PLUS

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a Duracell motorcycle battery. The battery stopped working.

I went to Batteries Plus on Saturday the lady told to bring my battery in, it would be tested and charged. If it was defective, it would be replaced. I brought the battery in on Sunday at 10am. I was told that it would need to charge overnight and I would hear something at 9am.

At 2pm, I called and the manager (as he identified himself) immediately started to "double talk" the warranty. He said that the warranty doesn't cover "misuse". I told him it's in a motorcycle and on a trickle charger. No such thing as misuse.

My warranty is good for another 8 months. Real simple. Stand behind your product. I called the corporate office.

They also attempted to talk around the warranty. She took my name and number and never called me back. I called in Tuesday morning and was on hold for SEVERAL minutes.

This issue is still not resolved.

This place is a scam. I will NEVER buy another product from them and I would encourage everyone that sees this to do the same.

Poor customer service

I bought a motorcycle battery on April 24, 2019. I kept the battery on trickle charge all winter long, wouldnt start when I tried to start it so I took the battery to batteries plus on university in Centennial Colorado. Your Clerk Nate was a chump. I went in on April 28 and Was told youre out of warranty.the whole damn bottom of the battery had been eating out and made a mess on my floor in my garage. I cant believe four days you guys will not honor the warranty on the battery that was obviously defective. I would love to hear your response to this my email is Deankalexander@***.com

Run-around / Poor Customer Service

Batteries Plus - Run-around / Poor Customer Service
On September 1, 2019, I dropped off two Movado watches for a battery replacement. One, a womens and the other a mens watch. I told the store manager that I would be back one week later. When I returned for the watches, the manager stated that they were not ready and that the mens watch needed to go to a jeweler because they could not get the back cover off. On 9/17/2019, I called the store and the manager told me that the watches would be ready by 9/20/2019. I went to the store and they were NOT ready! Same story on 9/24/2019 and 10/01/2019. I went to the store on 10/13/2019 and the clerk told me that the mens watch was ready. After he handed it to me, I realized that the watch was NOT working and in fact had never been sent out to the jeweler. This expensive watch sat in a drawer unwrapped/unprotected for 6 weeks with no explanation on why they told me it was ready - all "bullshit"! Then they told me that the jeweler had not contacted them for an update on the womens watch...who's job is it to call and find out the status of the watch??? These guys do not know how Customer Service works. I am very upset with this business. Today, 10/19/2019, I stopped into the store to inquire about my watches. They handed me the womens watch telling me that it was fixed. The mens watch is still at the jeweler, supposedly being worked on. After an hour, the womens watch seems to be working. A couple of months prior to this matter, I had another womens Movado watch at this same store for battery replacement. They replaced the battery but they also applied a lubricant to the moving parts. This lubricant penetrated and stained the watch's Mother of Pearl face and the watch had stopped working. The watch was sent out to a jeweler for restoration. After (8) weeks of back and forth lies, I got my watch back in working condition. As soon as I get the mens watch back, I will never step foot inside this store again. They don't care about their lack of Customer Service. The store managers are Brandon Wozniak & Brian Carradus. 10 minutes. Okay 20 minutes.

That's how long it takes a jeweler to change the batteries of two Movado watches including regreasing the gaskets if needed.

Oh! and, your suspicions are confirmed, they were wearing your Movados.

Top Notch Customer Service at this location!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Recently I had batteries leak in my garment GPS handheld unit that I use for search and rescue. It was a device in every scene from another handler that recently passed away from cancer, so there was sentimental value involved. One of the employees/Service Technician, Rachelle, took my GPS to the back to see if it was repairable.... 5 minutes later she came back with it working as good as new! It might not last forever but it is fully functioning now. I am extremely grateful for her training and expertise that saved this device!! I highly recommend this store and its location!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Went to a store in san Jose California, but first I live in Portland Oregon, and I paid for a plan that garrented life long battery chang free for my watch. Later I went to California found my watch wasn't working.

So I looked up a batteries plus in san Jose, went their after catching several busses, walked in with a freind, asked if they would honor the deal and was told by 2 people working their that they didnt do that anymore, they had stopped that about 2 years ago. I looked at my freind and laffed. The clerck stood their and tried to tell me they could sell me a battery for my watch for $5.00 I told him no you can honor the deal, or well see why in a phone call. Now I'm going to sue the company for fraudulent advertising, attempts to get more money from me and my battery never replaced.

Yes I'm going after their company. If you have run into this problem please call me at 971)207-**** roger

Warranty Joke

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Purchased a car battery with 3 year guarantee. Three months after purchase, battery failed.

Car -related causes were eliminated. I returned battery with receipt in hand. They refused to replace after putting the battery on their super dooper charger. Said the battery is fine.

Three days later, battery was down to 3 volts, just sitting on a work bench.

Scam and a rip-off. Never again.

Same situation here. Never again buying duracell battery. Monetary loss $209

A_Consumer_1

I too purchased a Duracell car battery that went dead after 3 months. I was moving at the time.

My car was oldish (2001) but never gave me problems. I didn't think the battery was the problem when it didn't start because it was new. I foolishly sold my car to a cash for arts place for $350 because it was still on the property of my previous address, but before the tow truck came I pulled out the battery. I took it to Oreillys Auto to be charged who advised me I should return the battery to B+B stating it wouldn't charge.

B+B wouldn't return my money and wanted to keep the battery over night so that they could decide whether or not they were going to honor the warranty. What was I going to do with a car battery, I just sold my dependable car so even if they were going to stand by the warranty I've already lost out on the cash AND a car. I received an annoyed empty apology from the store manager even though Imy composure remained respectful and graceful because when I returned the battery (between me, myself and I) I didn't have evidence to backup my SUSPICION... YET.

TIP: Read the return policy before you pay! In this case you'll have to ask for it because it's not provided until you make a purchase. If you make the purchase first (hopefully not online), read the return policy before leaving the store - I guaranty you'll return the product after you do.

No matter what you buy, if the seller doesn't standby the product, there's a reason which is obvious in their return policy. That goes for all products.

i'm experiencing the same issues with my Duracell battery. 11 month's into a 3 year warranty, it's crapping out and the Sams store where I bought it took 3 hours using their "super dooper" tester only to inform me it's fine.

My charging circuit is fine. I haven't verified it yet, with another battery, but I suspect the battery.

2 of 3 Batteries i purchased from Battery Plus. Both Durcells.

1 for a 95 Buick la sabre in Jan 2019 Has a sticker on it 11/18. and a 95 Chevy Suburban Purchased 2-6-18. Ironic Same Battery # here's why i found that out. Sunday 11/3/19 my car started slow(wife leave something on?) Drove a short distance and came home and battery dead again(check it later) Monday Drive the Burb and it died,Son pulled me into Lowes(around corner that's how close i was) with his jeep (where i was going) Pulled of Alternator to check and it was good.

(Battery light on when key turned). so with in 24 hours(not that cold, but a lot of Moisture) Both cars dead and the Battery #'s are same in both Vehicles and Take the same when i called Battery Plus on Wed to tell them my issue. Weird that both Vehicles Batteries went dead within 24hrs. When i called they said about the charging thing and might not be covered?

What?.

Taking batteries to check with other Stores and then i am going there for them to check and verify results. I would not buy a Durcell and Possible not use battery plus again.

Guest

Buy Duracell at your own risk. They suck.

Guest

Batteries Plus is a rip off company along with their Duracell Garbage products. They refused to honor the battery warranty after 20 months saying the battery voltage was under 10 volts and they do not honor warranty when the battery is below 10 volts.

If the battery was fully charged I would not need to use the warranty! This is the second time Batteries Plus refused to honor the warranty in the past 8 years.

I will never buy another Duracell or shop at Batteries Plus. They have lost me as a customer.

Yes but only if you don’t mind not receiving the rebate

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought a Duracell Ultra Platinum AGM car battery that had a rebate with it. I sent pictures of the UPC, receipt and all of the required information. I received an email verification link which in clicked. Its been a month now and I havent received anything. Using the rebate tracker url I cant find my rebate information. Rebates are fulfilled by Arrowhead Promotions (third party). So far I like the battery I purchased, but the rebate has left a bad taste in my mouth and if I had a choice of vendors, Id probably not use batteries plus again unless the price (without rebate) was spectacular.
