Basu Plastic Surgery Customer Care Review from Spokane, Washington

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have to drive one hour from cypress over there. When I almost arrived on time (on the way already for almost one hour.), they called me to cancel my appointment because the previous patient was 3.5 hours delayed.

This is totally a BS, I think they simply add someone in front of me. Then they scheduled me another date, this time I was 25 minutes late due to the traffic, there is no patient left, the technician simply told me to get out of there as she has something need to do. I tried to call them and nobody answered. It's unprofessional and the service is terrific.

They can invest however to exchange good reviews. BUT my is really story, real comment!!!

Office Staff Does not Tell the Truth

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Before scheduling a procedure with this doctor please confirm you are absolutely sure. The staff will paint you a picture that if you put the money down and not choose to have surgery with them.

You will receive a refund. That is not true. I put the money down and had not scheduled the surgery. After reconsidering my surgery and NOT scheduling a date, I called back to receive a refund and was told it was non refundable.

Now, I am out of 600.00 (100.00 is nonrefundable). I cannot stress do NOT give them money until you are absolutely sure. Also, get a second opinion.

I am not sure if Dr. Basu has knowledge of the scams his office staff is pulling but I feel it needs to be communicated to the general public.

Went in for a tummy tuck. It wasn't tight enough he did not fix it or offer a partial refund and discouraged me from having revisions.

Blepharoplasty by Dr. Bob C. Basu

On July 15, 2013 Dr. Basu did a Bleph.

upper and lower with a mini cheek lift for me. The results are not satisfactory! I am left with lumps and bumps on my right eye lid, a long herring bone scar on my left eye lid. The bottom right eye lid has 6 indentions from stiches which holds makeup and is hard to clean, and the right lower lid came out ruffled.

Also Dr. Basu placed a stitch on the left corner of my eyelid pulling it down which closes my eye and makes this eye appear smaller than the right eye. Dr. Basu sends his assistants in to take notes of my concerns, but never addresses them but rather comments on how beautiful his work is.

When I tried to discuss my concerns he dismissed me every time. I asked him again last visit to take a look, and his response was that he could not see anything wrong and left. His work is not fine enough for faces. He may be good at body sculpting, but please see a specialist for your face and stay away from Dr.

Bob Basu. I have a lot of friends who have had this surgery elsewhere and none have the scars and bumps I was left with by this doctor.

I have had consultation by another doctor and will have some injections to reduce the appearance of the scars and bumps soon.

I regret having Dr. Basu do my surgery.

Unbelievable

I have had over 10 procedures done with Dr. Basu about three years ago.

I recently had a ruptured implant, and called the office to find out what to do. I was told that the patient care coordinator was not in, and I would receive a call as soon as she walked in the door. It was 2:00pm and I never received a call, so I called back and never got to speak to anyone. Finally, the next day I got to speak with Elizabeth, but she could not help me as far as the pricing on the removal and I was told that she was going to call me back the next morning.

The next morning, I never received a call so I called back and was told that she didn't know because she hasn't spoken with Dr. Basu and that I would have to wait... I told Elizabeth that I was very nervous about my implant rupture and would really like to at least schedule a consultation or something, and I really needed to know pricing so my husband and I could get this taken care of as soon as possible. I was tired of calling back and waiting, so I just went ahead and scheduled a consultation with another doctor.

I have had very many surgeries done with Dr. Basu and I am an extremely good patient of his. I have had a breast augmentation, breast implants, full body lift, arm skin removal, liposuction, leg skin removal, and the list goes on. I am astonished at the customer service.

I cannot believe that a patient who has spent so much time and money with Basu Plastic Surgery could ever be treated so poorly. I would never recommend him to anyone again until he hires a new staff. I feel like I am a very valuable patient of Dr.

Basu, but thanks to Elizabeth and his other staff I no longer recommend him and I will not longer be referring him to anyone in the future. I am so hurt at the treatment I have gotten.

THIS DOCTOR IS A ***!! NO TALENT !!!!

Guest

I am the same exact person that had the complaint written above about Basu Plastic Surgery. I just wanted to add that, although I did have a bad experience with his staff, my review in no way reflected what I thought about my surgery results.

Like I said, I had ten procedures and my results look absolutely amazing. Dr. Basu is the best surgeon that I know of to get any type of plastic surgery....as a surgeon I always recommend him to other people because he really does know what he is doing. Dr.

Basu, himself, does an excellent job making patients comfortable, answering all questions before and after the procedure, he is honest, reliable, and an amazing person as well. The past experience that I recently had with his staff had NOTHING to do with what I think about Dr. Basu as a plastic surgeon. I could not be happy with my surgical outcomes.

I definitely feel like Dr. Basu helped me live a more confident and more fruitful life because of the amazing surgical transformation he performed.

Mommy Makeover

I am absolutely unsatisfied with my mommy makeover results that Dr. Basu has left me with.

I have huge breast after discussing thoroughly that I wanted do be a D cup I am left with an F cup. This has resulted in back and shoulder pain. Also, My tummy tuck scar does not look professionally done. After contacting the office and explaining my concerns all I had was a patient coordinator yelling at me, saying that if I wanted anything to be fixed I would have to pay the price.

I can't believe this Dr. has a very unprofessional staff. They are very polite and caring before they take your money, but afterwards they turn on you. They obviously don't care about customer satisfaction.

I am now investigating his experience and certifications. Before you have surgery Go to the Texas Medical Board and look at the certifications before choosing your Dr.

I would not recommend this Dr. to anybody.

Dr. Basu must have his staff working hard to post these bs comments. If a patient isn't happy, your comment won't make things any better.
