Kenedy texas barths
we were ripped off with shortcut serving of food already pre-cooked and left in and dipping pot for the waitresses to dip from all over south texas and now in kenedy texas and we decided to give barths a try.
as usual. cold food late to the table.
upgraded prices for a downgraded meal. almost ten dollars each for a scrawny breakfast with one waitress. who traverses back and forth on a bad leg which isn't impressive, while the owners sit way off in the back kicking it up having a good ol time.
meanwhile I'm eating my plate vowing to never come here again and my partner is not eating but 2 bites and was finished. then we both ended up with the shaky chills all night but for me it was 3 days in bed.
I couldn't even get up to urinate and jump right back in bed with a fever. I noticed the plates had fingerprints on the innersides of them and this should've been a warning to not eat there. fingerprints means the plates weren't washed they were pulled from the dirty stack. this isn't the only place that uses a waitress with a bad leg though its a gimmick.
its a clever ploy to get you to empathize with them. ive seen it before. and the shortcuts are all over south texas. cold food in a pot.
dipped out. spatted on a plate.and the scrambled eggs were dark which is an indication that the grill had leftover meat on it from last night. uncleaned.
and a gallon of eggs poured on it while dirty. this is prolly where I picked up the shakes and chills.

we are not sure which part of the café can be associated with the shakes and chills but yes it came from that place. we always swear we never will go to quite a few places.
many many places. mainly because if you get that sort of deal so casually and blatantly all out noncaringly, what makes you think they will change just because you complained? they wont. so we try to go to places that we never been before and hope something good happens but almost every time they fail.
and we are usually the only ones complaining while others are too ignorant or too scared. they don't want to look bad or cause a scene. weve been to many cafes that ive overheard patrons whispering about the cold food to each other but never go and speak there minds. they just leave and most likely come back the next day.
most of these shortcutcafes depend on the straggler or snowbirds who are passing thru and will never be seen again. but that's living in the past and very very ignorant. because of todays technologies. internet allows a person to correspong within seconds across the world and none of these cafes seem to grasp that idea.
its like most of texas is slowly vegetablizing walking living breathing wafts of cabbages and sprouts. living but mindless.
We don't have those here ; guess I'm glad. Sick people working or sitting at the next booth caused your fever although it could be bacterially contaminated food sitting around under temperature for too long. I always remember the last thing I ate before barfing ; never want anything to do with it ever again !
