Beyond disappointed with results...

AI Highlights
  • - Four front veneers were placed; they were costly.
  • - One veneer fell off repeatedly, causing embarrassment.
  • - One front tooth shade is noticeably different.

I had Dr. Barotz put 4 veneers on my front teeth.

I didn't care that he was the most expensive of the dentists I considered because I wanted the best... my 4 front teeth are what everyone sees. Not only did one of the veneers fall off multiple times - resulting in embarrassment and a lot of extra time spent in the dentist's chair - but he managed to make one of my front middle teeth a different shade of white.

It's so noticeable that I've had people mention it while speaking with me (cringe). The great news is that NOBODY thinks I have veneers because who would CHOOSE to slap these teeth on?!

Cookies and Juice?

AI Highlights
  • - Visited Dr. Barotz once; unimpressed.
  • - Cookies microwaved; warm cookies offered after I declined.
  • - Vibe off; estimate seemed high.

I went to Dr. Barotz only once and was not impressed.

For starters, they have cookies that they microwave, which is not exactly healthy for a dentist’s office. And the front desk person asked me a couple of times if I wanted warm cookies and reminding that me she had warm cookies after I already said, no thanks. The smell of the microwaved cookies was kind of annoying throughout the visit, including the rooms with the dental chairs. Dr Baratz looked at my teeth, and I asked him about sleep apnea because I had heard some dentists make a mouth piece that’s supposed to help with it, and he just kind of laughed at me.

When he was looking at my teeth, he wore a white lab coat. Then, he left the room and came back to give me his estimate, wearing instead of the lab coat, a flawless, wrinkle-less, expensive-looking suit.

I got a weird vibe from this dentist. His estimate seemed a little excessive, too.

I want to start by saying I am not a fan of spending this kind of time too make a review but I had created a review on a local review site and see that this office had somehow had my review removed. As a medical professional, I believe people making a choice for a dentist or doctor should have all facts and information available to them when making the decision to visit the provider.

Almost went to this as we don't have many good options in Cheyenne. After my previous dentist retired, I went to the new dentist in his practice and absolutely hated him, he was horrible. I began looking for a new dentistin the Denver area and found this office and attempted to make an appointment. The woman on the phone (Sherrie?) was flip and condescending, but I didn't want that to turn me from what could be a good dentist - more importantly I need a good hygienist.

First this office wanted me to pay $50 to make an appointment.I understand wanting patients to keep appointments, but the explanation didn't sit well with me. I decided to hold off and do some checking on references/reviews. This office seems to have a reputation as a car salesman, money-first business. This set off a bit of a red flag, so I checked a little more and discovered that the dentist here has had a few issues with the state Dental Agency, with a history of improper treatment and recently gave medication to a patient who had a medical condition that this medication could have resulted in serious consequences, possibly death.

Needless to say, because I suffer anxiety at the dentist and require some sedation, I passed on this dentist and found a great office in Fort Collins - closer to my home.

Highway Robbery

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Charged 425 per cavity and 850 for two cavities.
  • - Deep cleaning quoted at 2,800 vs 700 elsewhere.
  • - Suggests going to Lodo Dental due to price difference.

Highway robbery. I paid 425 for each cavity and they were simple, shallow one surface cavities.

850 for 2 cavities. Then he wanted to charge me $2,800 for the deep clean to remove infection in the gums. I went to Lodo dentist and found out it's 175 a cavity and it's only $700 for the exact same thing that cost 2800. This guy is a money worshiping ***.

Please don't give him any of your money. Go to Lodo Dental or anywhere else instead.

It would be one thing if the price difference was small, but it is astronomical . talk about greedy and taking advantage
