Barbour has gone downhill dramatically in the past perhaps four year.
Barbour is no longer a quality company or product. I am a longer time Barbour customer and have never had an issue.
The customer service is nil and the issues with repair are bewildering. I have a Barbour jacket repaired four years ago for torn pockets. Hardly used the jacket and recently noticed the pockets torn at same area. Took Jacket to an Orvis store on December 1st.(2023) for re-wax and repair to pocket.
After a month I heard nothing and contacted Barbour repair.
Heard nothing and contacted Barbour only to learn that estimate for repairs was over $525.00, Shocked I asked to have my jacket returned with the re-wax done. The jacket was held for some time and calls were to repair number were even more nasty.
I finally did get the jacket back after more than a month only to notice the pockets were torn even worse and the jacket had other issues than before "repair."
Still attemolting to get the issue resolved but not hopeful in any way.

The person that help me Made me feel like I was bugging her. All she kept saying was get on the website get on the website I do not have a computer it is very hard to get on the website. Not everyone has a computer I found her to not be helpful whatsoever.

Ordered a joules there jacket from branded jacket shop Uk. Got sent from a china really cheap and awful fake barbour jacket.
No refund and they removed more money from my credit card. Known counterfeit.
Contacted Barbour and trading standards who are aware. Criminals.
