  • - Ordered Ziggy BBQ online 12 Dec 2021; delivered 10 Jan 2022; Order 7990; paid $758 + $49.
  • - Faulty ignition; warranty; slow replies; tech promised to order the faulty part.

My twin Ziggy BBQ was ordered Online in December the 12th 2021 and delivered to my address on the 10/01/2022. Order No:7990. I paid $758.00 for the BBQ + $49.00

Soon after receiving above I reported, that the BBQ arrived with a faulty ignition and asked the problem to be fixed under warranty. Though I sent emails about this problem through several times, I ether did not receive replies or was bumped to person to person in customer service without any action until March this year. Finally a technician (Mike) was sent out to evaluate the problem and promised to order the faulty part (gas *** That was in March and now it is the end of August and my BBQ still has not been repaired. After several inquiries to this person and emails to your Customer Care about the reason for the delay I have not received any answer.

I have several case numbers collected between email exchanges shown below. My question: is BBQ Galore a reputable company? If this is the case, why are you neglecting your customers and fixing a seemingly simple problem?

Should you not come back to me and replace the faulty part in the BBQ in the next two weeks I am going to take my complaints up to Fair Trading Australia for resolutions.

Still no action regarding my complaints by BBQ Galore. They stated 10-year warranty on this product, which is just laughable. Nine months after reporting the fault they not even answering my emails lately.
