Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. The total of $87 had been placed this morning back on my debit card.But I am still blocked from sending them emails. No apologies.
Price being far more than what was quoted. 1st red flag, they said to pay 1 night in advance. Quote was almost $50. They ended up taking $87!!!...
Then after a few days, I noticed our room wasn't going to have balcony, so I called back. Colissa/Kolisa? ( Or however you spell her name) Answered and I was trying to tell her I needed to switch up to a balcony please. (It was the same price quote on their website as the room I chose without balcony) She got rude, stated it was much more than the quote.
Nonetheless I was still wanting a balcony so I asked how much more it would be. Considering our bill was over $445 ( before the $87 was taken off) and our balance was $349.80 left to pay at the motel when we arrived. She said it would be $485.50 to pay on arrival. Sooo...
Because I have disabilities, my memory isn't good so I had asked her politely to repeat what she had said. Her words " I just told you, didn't you listen?" And then she said "I don't know, I can't remember so I guess I'll have to look it up" Instead of placing me on hold, she slammed the phone down, had a nice chat with her friends (in their language) , laughed a bit, then came back on phone and repeated quote. I politely asked to whom I was speaking with and in her words "Why? You don't need to know my name.
I'll be here when you check in so we'll see each other." And hung the phone up on me.!!! Now keep in mind in all total it was over $500 when said and done, and I would be staying a week. That's not chump change by any means, and I just found out I have CKD chronic kidney disease in late stages, so this might be my last time to enjoy my life.. even though I was absolutely furious with how rude someone can be, I waited until I cooled down.
Though about it for a bit, then called back to cancel my reservation. When I told her my name, she said "do you spell it P O W E R?" Totally confused because I had said "Tyler" . When I asked her how long it would take to restore my $87 back on my card, she stated "not my problem, you'll get it when it's ready" them hung up!!!
SERIOUSLY?? Needless to say, I'll be reporting to BBB and all the other agencies to let them know, this type of manner, should not and will not be tolerated!!!
