First of all, I would give Zero Stars if it would let me!!! I'm about to tell you my experience with a Keystone Montana 5th Wheel and I hope it will help you to decide to buy something else.

Here it goes...Me and my wife walked into Bankston Motor Homes in Huntsville, Alabama and one of the sales people, Vivian, asked could she help me. I told her that me and my wife were looking for a 5th wheel that would be best to live in for two years while we save money and build a house. She was addiment that the Keystone Montana was the best to "Live In For All Seasons". We did wind up purchasing a Montana 3761FL which is a Front Living Unit.

That was in April of 2023 and everything was fine until it turned cold in December and the first time it was 22 degrees F and we needed the gas furnace, it failed to work. We almost froze to death in that weather. I called Bankston Motor Homes in Huntsville where we purchased the Montana and they told me that we would have to bring it in and leave it for a couple of weeks. After a long battle with them about the fact that we live in it and don't have anywhere to stay, they suggested that we pay someone to fix the furnace and then file it on our warranty.

That is nothing compared to the fact that Vivian told us that we could live in it for 2-years and we purchased the most expensive extended warranty they had, $10,280. The regular warranty and extended warranty wasn't worth a damn when it came down to it. I did have someone fix it in the winter of 2023, just a few months from when we purchased it. Now fast forward to this winter, the gas furnace has failed us two times in the coldest part of the winter and again, we almost froze to death in the camper.

I had it fixed on my own by a local company and Bankston doesn't even give a damn that it is giving us problems. When I approached them about it again, they told me that I am too far upside down on the cost of it that they can't sell it on their consignment lot because people can buy a new one for less than what I owe on this one. Well, I paid $11,000 down on the camper in April of 2023 and now it isn't worth anywhere near what I owe on it. Isn't that convenient?

I told Keystone and Bankston Motor Homes that I will let all of you guys know about my issues. I do not recommend buying one of these campers and I recommend that you don't purchase from Bankston Motor Homes because they don't have any service guys that come out and service your camper. If you want it serviced, you "Must Bring It In And Leave It". Believe me, they will not tell you that up front so, if you are ignorant to this kind of stuff, ask me, I can tell you.

Keystone Furnaces suck and the Bankston field service doesn't exist. I could go on and on with negative things to say but, if your mind is set on a Montana, please reconsider or call me first at the number I listed above.
