I just was able to talk directly to some that took my call from there in Banana Hobby lol and he took my call and LOL my question and only concern was he answered it LOL BEFORE I CAN GET IT OUT MY MOUTH MY CONCERNS ABOUT A ORDER I PLACED . he was so sharp with whatever he was doing I didn't even get my full conversation out , plus with the way it was handled it was like putting a key in the ignition for me an he was already where I was trying to get lol lol , you guys are to awesome man . I will without question be returning with other orders.

Banana Hobby...the battle has just begun!!!
Recently returning from active duty in Iraq, my wife surprised me with a very thoughtful Christmas gift. She put a lot of thought into this gift, trying to think of a hobby that would keep my mind occupied, hands busy and provide an escape from home. She decided to introduce me to RC airplanes.
She placed an order with Bananahobby.com for an airplane.
The package came and I was just like a kid...excitement beyond belief. I didn't waste any time. Assembly was easy.
The one thing wrong was the servo horn on the wing that controls the aileron was stuck to the foam, preventing the servo from moving. I gently pryed the horn loose and realized the servo arm was working freely. The gears inside were broken.
I followed directions from the web site on how to report defective products. After 6 attempts and 2 weeks had passes with no response from Banana Hobby, I decided to try replacing the servo at my own expense. Being a beginner at the RC hobby, I had no idea that servos came in many different varieties. They all looked the same to me.
I purchased and installed the incorrect type and went for a maiden flight. Finally, after two weeks, I can finally try my Christmas gift...almost into the next year!
The plane took flight perfectly...however, when I tried turning to the left, stability vanished. I managed to recover 3-4 times and when I was bringing it back to check the cause, it went straight down into the ground resulting in something that resembled Roswell, New Mexico. Debris was everywhere. The plane was a total loss. So much for a relaxing hobby.
I have never recieved any contact from bananahobby.com. My opinion, Banana Hobby depends on these things to happen in order to avoid returns and refunds. I cannot return this item at this point because of the crash and now I have nothing after almost $300 going to these scammers.
I have tried contacting them to see if I can get a replacement fuselage at a dicounted price. So far...10 attempts...Well, I am pissed at the lack of service. The site stated 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Just try to follow-up on that guarantee...It does no good to give a guarantee if you do not respond to your customers...I think that fits the description of FRAUD!!!!!!
Battle isn't over yet...I just got out of a combat zone and I am still in the combat mode...its just time to change the mission.

Failed to provide customer support upon receiving a damaged item
I ordered a remote control airplane from Banana Hobby. The tail section was broken upon delivery.
I was not too upset as these things happen. I first tried to use their "live chat" customer support. It took somewhere around 2-3 hours for someone to finally address me. They told me to send pictures to their email support team.
I did so immediately and waited nearly a week for them to respond with their solution to rectify the situation.
After hearing nothing, I emailed them again and told them that I dislike having to return things so that if they would send me an appropriate glue I would repair it myself. Still no word from them so I shall be reporting them on every site I can find and warn others to avoid them.
Sent incomplete order with lots of parts missing
Please Dont buy from this company ( Bananahobby)they have no sales support and no intention of sorting any problems . My order was incomplete and on trying to reach the company through e_mail , Fax, phone or online chat you get no response.
I have looked on the web trying to see if other people have had similar problems and found some complaints on Bananahobby facebook page alluding to shonky goods and total lack of support from the company regarding any complaints. So to all tose R/C fans out there--- Find another company!and dont become another victim They take your money and thats that.

Wow!!! The complaints on banana hobby is overwhelming.
I came close to ordering at least a $1000 worth of equipment. This company will b deleted from my hobby list, thanks to all of y'all comments.
Another hobby store to stay away from if you want tech support or replacement is Hobby King. I had a defective battery that i only paid 16 dollars for and it was defective.
They would not let me send it back with out showing the voltage and i tried to tell them that it was dead and defective.
They said they have a policy not to take it back unless i take a picture of it showing the voltage of each cell. So i did then they said the pictures were not clear so they would not warrentee it !
