- - Ordered 7/22; delivery promised 6-8 weeks.

- - Since 9/17, deliveries were canceled and moved to a GA warehouse.
We ordered upholstered furniture on 7/22. We were told it would arrive in 6-8 weeks.
We are on day 73. Our sofa was supposed to arrive today and didn't. We have been told since 9/17 that it was scheduled for delivery, and each time it has been cancelled (something about having been accidentally moved to a Georgia warehouse). Ballard has me calling their delivery company.
Today I was told they couldn't bring it because of the weather. It is clear as a bell. They haven't thrown out 'COVID' or 'Putin' or 'tariffs' as excuses yet, but I'm surprised.
I will never buy anything from Ballard again. They deserve to be out of business.

Lied to me

Piece of furniture was on sale. My new place wasnt ready yet so the rep wrote up a quote and said to call a couple weeks before desired delivery.
I did this and she said she was mistaken- that the price only was good during the sale. Her manager wouldnt honor the quote.

Verified Buyer |Received grossly damaged furniture
- - Sofa back is coming off and wood from the frame is visible.
- - Chair looks used and both items arrived damaged and I am charged for delivering damaged goods.
Velvet custom sofa and chair - both received in visibly damaged condition. The back is coming off of the sofa - the wood from the frame is visible and the chair looks as though it is in used condition.
It is appalling that anything would be shipped and delivered to a customers home in the condition they are in.
Still waiting for pickup - almost a month later. And - they are charging me for delivering damaged goods!

Trying to speak with a Customer Service person

- - Ordered 10 jute tote bags with monograms and gift wrap for home delivery.
- - Cards were misplaced and one card was attached to the wrong package; Blu helped us.
Ordered 10 of the jute tote with monogram bags. They were supposed to be gift wrapped and shipped to my home.
Upon arrival I noticed that the cards were all thrown at the bottom of the box Sis.. I was unable to identify which bag belong to Former. There was One package with a card attached however, as I opened the packages to figure out which bag was inside I noticed that the card was attached to the wrong package.
I called Ballard customer service and the service clerk was very empathetic and shocked. This has been a very shocking situation for me as I am a customer of Ballard a fan of ballads.
However I have to rethink my position on that. The customer service guy offered me a $25 gift certificate. I dont know if its in the mail or on my email I have not seen anything on my email.
Because of the situation, we had to get in the car and drive for about an hour plus to get to Ballard in Long Island in order to get bags so that we could present these gifts appropriately. The saving grace is that that young woman at the register whose name is Blu took care of us with patience, grace and dignity.
My disappointment/revulsion with the individuals or department that deals with gift wrapping cannot be stressed enough.
It's really low and disgusting.
