Horrific

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - I shared worship with the Balanced Skin Care Center owner.
  • - I was drawn into neighbor gossip.
  • - Security tapes later showed the real truth.

I use to belong to the same worship group as the person who owns this business. I tried my best to support her and the business she runs, Balanced Skin Care Center.

I unexpectedly got caught up in a web of lies and gossip about a neighbor that was supposedly doing a lot of dastardly deeds. Some of which were trying to run Susan down, {{Redacted}} into a window well, throwing birds, nails etc over the fence and numerous other situations that seemed to be hard to believe, but for a while I did. Shame on me for listening to these somewhat unbelievable situations.

It wasn't until I recently was able to view numerous security and videos tapes online and learned the real truth. I think someone should author a book about this horrific situation, but no one would believe it.

Bait and Switch using a coupon

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Coupon not honored; claimed expired, though no expiration.
  • - The service occurred at a home-based business, causing distrust; later a storefront provider offered better treatment.

I feel as if I was ripped off when I used a coupon to buy n acne treatment medication from Balanced Skin Care Center. I called ahead and the lady told me I could use the coupon.

When I went to her house (her business) I was told that she would not honor the coupon and it has expired. There was no expiration on this coupon!!!! I of course left and will no go back. I don't trust a business that is out of a home.

Please do research before you waste your time as I did.

I went to another provider that actually had a storefront location and was treated much better. Thank God for that.

Terrible Service and Going Downhill

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Treatment methods at Balanced Skin Care Center are outdated.
  • - The reviewer urges investigation before trusting skincare providers.

I don't normally review places, but Susan Tanner at Balanced Skin Care Center is a place I am avoiding after the treatment I received from her. The treatment methods are extremely outdated.

One of the most antiquated I have ever participated in. I have found that people who truly take their business seriously will investi their business. The spas and treatment centers I have visited other than Susan Tanner, do just that.

Don't trust your skin care to anyone who will not invest in their business and have the proper equipment and business training to be successful enough to have an actual store front business. Please do a complete investigation before you trust someone with your skin care.

Loss:

Cons:
  • Her personality
  • Lack of proper equipment
  • Outdated equipment

Bad quality

I was a customer of Susans years ago. It took a long time to achieve the results I wanted, but my skin never looked so beautiful.

Since moving away, my skin needs the products & care she gave me.

I will take that 50 mile drive & enjoy every facial & every product she suggests. She is fabulous!

Balanced Skin Care Center, Botox treatment

AI Highlights
  • - Visited Susan Tanner at a basement skin care business.
  • - She hosts several Botox parties each year and critics say Botox should be done by a doctor.

I visited Susan Tanner in her basement where she operates a skin care business. Susan has several Botox parties every year. DON"T GO!!! Botox is a poison and should really be administered by a certified Doctor.

The Doctor should be the only one wh0 gives these shots or who closely supervises an RN or other qualified medical professional.

Anyone giving BOTOX parties are just money hungry and there are many knock offs of BOTOX.

If you want to risk your own welfare, then Susan may be your girl.

Why do you gossip so much? Why do you lie about situations that never happened. How can anyone trust Susan Tanner with running a business honestly?

Shame on Susan and Brad Tanner. I am a Private Investigator who testified in a trial the Tanners were involved in.

I video taped this and it is now on YouTube. When you see the amount of lies theses people told, one would have to ask, how honest can they be in their business dealings.

What goes around comes around, Susan Tanners business is dead. No one likes to be around them. It is painful.

Susan Tanner (Balanced Skin Care)does not know what she is doing

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Free consultation led to a minipeel with days of burning; she said it was normal.
  • - Costs exceeded $1,000; insurance refused; $45 return charge.

I went to Susan Tanner for a "free" consultation> She talked me into having a minipeel. I felt a lot of burning in my face and she stated that was normal. It persisted for several days and when I called her she was anything but helpful. She stated I could come back but it would cost another $45.00.

I ended up going to a Doctor and she was appalled by the lack of knowledge about skin and medications and what not to do if you are on different meds.

This free consultation ended up costing me well over $1,000 in medical treatments, money that I do not have and my insurance carrier refused to pay for it.

When I contacted Susan Tanner, she hung up on me. I don't know what to do now.
