Baker's Best "Free" Pain Relief preys on Old People with Dementia
Baker's Best "Free" Pain Relief Cream sends out brochures stating that they will receive free pain relief cream. In small print it tells them that if they are not satisfied, they have to send back the unused portion in the original jars.
My Mother is 88 and has dementia. She didn't see the fine print. She has since received a bill for $50.00 and soon afterward she was turned over to their collection department who threatened to sue her and ruining her credit. She could care less about them ruining her credit.
She had me to send in the two jars that were originally sent to her. They are still threatening her and harrassing her.
She refuses to pay for their "Free" Pain Relief Cream, especially after sending it back unused. Children of the elderly that have been targeted by Bakers Best should call the Council on Aging, Consumer Protection Agency and Federal Trade Commission and complain about these Charlatans.

I did get them to answer the phone in a timely fashion. I was to receive a 25% discount with their Welcome25 coupon code.
The website said it would show up in cart. It did not, I completed order on Friday night (I live on West Coast) they are East Coast time closed on Sat and Sunday. I called 1 week later when I could as I need to before 2 pm west coast time. I did call but no answer because it was after hours for them.
Today I called at about 1:45 pm and was scolded for not calling earlier in week. I am not home during their hours I explained and was told it was too late and that they did not know what they could do for me as order had been shipped. In a nutshell very poor customer service, agent talked non-stop over talking me over and over anf getting wigged out placing all kinds of blame on me, telling me I did miss-used the order form or I did not put in coupon welcome25 or I did not call in what they thought was a timely fashion. They were concerned I was going over 15 minutes I was on the phone with them (clock watchers).
I was on the phone that long because of all the blame thrown my way at least 6 times (once was enough) never really trying to solve issue but deflect blame - I was not blaming anyone just seeking the 25% discount promised. Their going to check with their IT department and call me next week (good luck with that) I don't understand what the IT dept.
has to do with honoring a offered discount.
How hard would it be to say I understand let me check on this and get back to you next week as we are almost closed today. Then I would not feel like I was treated like an idiot by an idiot.
